Did You Notice This Meaningful Detail in Taylor Swift's Look at Jack Antonoff & Margaret Qualley's Wedding?

If there’s one thing Taylor Swift does better than everyone else, it’s sneaking a clever reference or throwback into everything that she does.

The 33-year-old “Style” hitmaker is the Queen of Easter Eggs. So much so that her devoted Swifties dissect her artwork and looks with a surgical precision to determine if they’re missing any important details.

She gave them plenty to talk about when she got dressed to attend producer friend Jack Antonoff‘s wedding to Margaret Qualley on Saturday (August 19). In fact, there’s one big detail about her look that is seemingly steeped in extra meaning.

When Taylor got dressed for the big day, she chose an icy blue, lace dress. The color was a recurring theme in her look; she wore matching shoes and bejeweled earrings.

What does the color mean? Swifties have come to associate this shade of blue with Taylor‘s album 1989. Of course, that just so happens to be the next re-recorded album that the pop titan is re-releasing. She announced the impending release date during the final U.S. performance of her Eras Tour earlier this month.

Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time that Taylor has referenced her music in a look. Who could forget when she stepped out in a starry dress mere hours after announcing her album Midnights?

However, the color also might be a special tribute to her relationship with Jack. How so? 1989 was the first of her albums that they collaborated on, signaling the start of a long-running professional relationship that shows no signs of slowing down.

Taylor was one of so many celebrities to attend the wedding. We’ve got pics of a bunch of other A-list guests and a first look at the newlyweds in their wedding best.
