Azealia Banks Alarms Fans With Unsettling Messages: ‘I Think I Will End My Tenure Here On Earth Soon’

The 29-year-old musician and recording artist took to Instagram very late Saturday night and shared a series of concerning messages about her mental health amid the coronavirus pandemic quarantine, and more.

Fans flocked to social media, concerned about the rapper and music producer as she send off a series of missives about wanting to be “done here” and insinuating she might “end my tenure here on earth soon.”

Banks later followed up noting that her “decision is made,” and despite a friend coming to do a welfare check on her she was apparently not going to budge from it. She further added that she is going to “try to push through these next couple months,” conceivably to finish the aforementioned projects she said she’d wanted to complete in her message (above).

Of course, fans quickly took to social media to reflect on Banks’ forthright and scary messages, with one user writing (below):

“This worries me so much. I hope someone close to Azealia reaches out to make sure she’s doing okay. She’s such a powerful human being and a lovely artist and I just want to see her thrive and be happy❤ I wish I could hug her right now.”

Another fan added more, saying:

“Azealia banks, you are worth it. you are enough. and you are talented. dont allow this pandemic or lack of social interaction put you in a depressed state. you are loved and cherished. dont do anything irrational. i love you.”
