Counting On star Jessa Duggar is seen below wearing a variety of clothes that one might not consider conservative.
Why is this a topic that we’re even discussing?
Well, her family’s views of gender roles have always been controversial (Jessa taught seminars on modesty, in fact).
Yet some critical fans noted that for all the talk of the Duggars’ ultra-modest dress code, she doesn’t abide by it.
Not always, anyway. Follow us here.
Many early examples of this phenomenon occurred while she was pregnant, which clearly changes the equation.
By definition, her body is growing and those curves become harder to contain. That’s a given. Nevertheless …
We break down some of her more … flattering tops here, along with some recent, surprising fashion choices.
Jessa has been dressing more provocatively than ever lately, which is sure to make Jim Bob blow a gasket.

Counting On star Jessa Duggar is seen below wearing a variety of clothes that one might not necessarily consider extremely conservative.
Why is this a topic that we’re even discussing, you ask?
Because with Jessa teaching seminars on dressing modestly, her family’s controversial views of gender roles are back in the spotlight.
Moreover, some fans have criticized her, noting that for all the talk of the Duggars’ ultra-modest dress code, she doesn’t always abide by it.
Granted, many of the examples of this phenomenon occur while she’s pregnant, and by definition, her body is growing and harder to contain.
That’s a given. But still, other members of her family have been with child sans the same penchant for tight-fitting clothes. Makes you think.
We break down some of her more … flattering tops here.
[UPDATE: Jessa has been dressing more provocatively than ever lately, and we’ve added some of her raciest pics!]

The Duggar homestead is a familiar sight to fans of the family.
Jim Bob and Michelle built a 7,000-square foot Arkansas residence using the proceeds from their first TLC specials way back in the day.
Thirteen years and three more kids later, the house serves as the setting for two reality shows – and some very large family gatherings.
Of course, 13 years is a long time and, about half the younger Duggar generation has grown up and moved into homes of their own.
Some of the adult Duggars are just starting out – while some are already living the good life on some very enviable property.
Others … not so much. We’ll get to that shortly.
The folks at celebrity gossip magazine In Touch took a look at all of the Duggar homes, and you might be surprised by what they found.

Well, we’re several days into the global coronavirus lockdown, and many homebound self-isolationists are fending off boredom with new activities like learning a musical instrument or considering divorce.
And now it looks as though Jessa Duggar has decided to join the masses by engaging in two experimental pursuits at the same time:
She’s refurbishing a changing table and casting off the shackles of her oppressively patriarchal upbringing all at once!
Yes, Jessa is wearing pants in a DIY instruction video she posted to YouTube on Tuesday.
If you’re a longtime follower of her family’s, we probably don’t need to tell you why that’s a big deal.
Like her sisters, Jessa was raised to abide by the ludicrously strict Duggar dress code.
That means she wore long skirts at all times, even while engaging in physical activities like, say, sports … or the refurbishment of an old changing table.
Jinger Duggar became the first of her sisters to wear pants publicly after she married Jeremy Vuolo back in 2016.
Yes, it seems Jinge and Jer had discovered a loophole, as once women in the Duggars’ community are married, it’s their husbands, not their fathers, who decide what they’re premitted to wear.
Being a non-psychopath in the 21st century, Jeremy didn’t care if his wife wore pants, and Jim Bob was foiled by his own sexist absurdity.
The other Duggar women followed Jinger’s lead — except for Jessa, who continued to favor the Little House on the Prairie look.
But in the video she uploaded this week, Jessa is seen wearing not one, but two different pairs of sweatpants.
It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-type thing, but the briefest glimpse of Jessa in sweats was enough to leave fans elated.
“I love that she’s wearing sweatpants in this!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in pants,” commented one viewer.
“Jessa is wearing long pink pants and the next day a pair black pair. Way to go Jessa!” wrote a second.
“I have noticed the last couple videos you have been wearing pants. Did you switch over!? Or just wearing both?” a third chimed in.
Many theorized that it was the first time that Jessa wore pants of any kind in a public forum (we’re talking YouTube here, not her home), and they might be right.
Jessa sported a skirt-pants combo in public back in 2017, but this appears to be the first time that she went skirt-less someplace that she could be seen by fans.
Welcome to the pants party, Jess!
The Duggars are a polarizing family.
This may be the most understated sentence ever written on this celebrity gossip website.
But Jim Bob, Michelle and company have issued a statement in which they hope to bring together a reeling nation during a time of unprecented fear and anxiety.
As you very likely know by now – heck, as you better know by now for the sake of everyone’s health and safety – the United States has been hit by a viral outbreak.
There’s no telling how many people will contract COVID-19, or how many will die from it, but all forecasts point to this crisis as being both severe and long-lasting.
Things will get worse before they get better.
In response to thousands of diagnosed cases and dozens of deaths, U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that America is in a state of national emergency.
He has also urged residents not to gather in groups of more than 10 people, while countless cities have shut down restaurants, bars and public establishments.
Schools are closed around the nation. Professional sports are on hiatus. Beloved celebs are being diagnosed.
It’s an all-out crisis, you guys.
The Duggar family, however, would like everyone to try and relax.
Not because this isn’t a serious situation; but because they think that turning to a higher power will at least calm some fears and concerns.
“We know that this Coronavirus situation is unprecedented,” reads a formal statement from the Arkansas family on Facebook.
“Beyond the health threat, there are so many unknown economic and societal impacts this virus is making worldwide.”
It’s true, of course.
As we write this and the TLC stars and alums make their plea, Congress is working on economic packages to assist folks who will be out of work for the foreseeable future.
So many people out there don’t know when their next paycheck will arrive, while no one is quite sure what will happen next overall. And all that’s aside from the virus itself.
For this reason, the Duggars are urging fans and followers to take solace in the only reliable outlet that exists at all times, through the good, bad and everything in between.
“The one thing we do know is that even in the darkest days and in the most challenging times, we can put our trust and hope in God,” continues the Facebook statement.
“Let’s all pray for one another, for our leaders, for our healthcare workers, and especially for our elderly.”
“Let’s all look for ways to love and care for our neighbors with the greatest risk,” the family urges.
The statement ended with these hashtags:
#praying #trustGod #helpothers
There are probably readers out there who criticize the family for everything, and scoff at this message.
Typical Duggars. Let’s maybe trust the doctors and scientists right now above all else, they figure.
But we can do both, right?
We definitely need to heed the advice of all experts and to take every practical precaution they recommend in order to overcome this outbreak.
There’s nothing wrong with also relying on one’s faith, though.
Even the harshest Duggar critics can recognize this.
So, as a sign of national unity and as a symbolic gesture that we really are in this together, let’s put aside our differences.
Let’s thank them instead, as we continue to hope that the Duggar family – and everyone around the world – stays healthy.
Be safe and smart, Duggars. And all of y’all.
Something is not right with Jessa Duggar.
Fans think that she is, among other things, depressed.
And they’re pretty sure that they know why.
As fans note, Jessa was forced to forgive Josh for molesting her by the fundamentalist cult in which she was raised.
She endured trauma without closure or real counseling, and was forced to hide what she endured to help her parents save face.
And that’s only one piece of the puzzle of Jessa’s traumatic childhood.
According to this fan theory, Jessa’s messy house isn’t just laziness or the realities of being a parent, it’s a symptom.
