Julia Trubkina Has Morning Sickness on 90 Day Fiance: Brandon Wants to Tell Mom!

90 Day Fiance Season 8 just isn’t the same without Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina’s storyline.

Even though her 90 Day Farmhand nightmare seems to be over, a new problem has emerged.

In this sneak peek for Sunday’s new episode, Julia reveals that she has morning sickness.

Even before Julia takes a pregnancy test, Brandon’s first instinct is to blab to his mother.

As this sneak peek for Season 8, Episode 11 begins, Julia Trubkina is in the passenger’s seat while Brandon Gibbs drives his car.

Julia is clearly feeling unwell, and rolls down her window for fresh air.

She warns Brandon that she fears that she may have to do the unthinkable — vomit. (It’s so gross to have to do, folks)

Brandon offers to pull over, but Julia does not yet see the need.

He asks if she’s feeling unwell.

This is when Julia shares that she was actually throwing up “all morning.”

That is an obvious bad sign, of course.

At this point, Julia suggests that perhaps something happened.

She reminds him of an incident — and we can easily guess what — from a week earlier.

Clearly, a week earlier, Brandon’s “pull-out method” had been even worse than usual.

(It’s always a bad method, but we’re thinking that maybe he waited too long to pull out and, well, didn’t)

Suddenly, Brandon is hit with the horrible realization that his fiancee might be pregnant.

At this point, the sneak peek cuts to a month earlier, when Brandon was oafishly admitting how careless he and Julia are.

He says that they use the pull out method … and that it has worked well so far.

Well, lots of bad ideas work until they don’t. That’s what makes them bad ideas.

Aside from Brandon’s toxic, controlling parents, no one is begrudging him for disliking condoms or Julia for avoiding hormonal birth control.

There are numerous options available — the best one, for these two, would be if Brandon had the common sense to get a vasectomy.

They are easy, reversible, and relatively cheap — costing $0 to $1,000 depending upon insurance. That is hundreds of times cheaper than becoming a parent.

Brandon’s mother has such a stranglehold on his psyche that his first thought is even worse than their current birth-lack-of-control method.

He wants to run crying to his mother to let her know.

Julia, who has lived on this nightmare farm for weeks now, can scarcely believe her ears.

“Are you serious?” she asks.

Brandon is very serious.

Julia very understandably asks the question: “Why” in the world would he tell his mom now?

Julia explains that they themselves do not even know.

They haven’t bought a pregnancy test yet.

They need to find out if she’s pregnant or not before they tell anyone.

Only then, after they take the test, should they tell Brandon’s parents.

(And if she’s not pregnant, they’ve dodged two bullets — pregnancy, and the parental nightmare that would follow)

Betty can find out 11 months after this when the episode airs, not freak out right then and there.

Brandon explains his line of “thinking.”

In his opinion, they should tell Betty because she’s so nosy and controlling that she’d never let Julia just feel a little unwell in peace.

Oh, that’s not how he phrased it, but that’s the truth.

Brandon and Julia are both in a state of disbelief.

Julia has clearly had this fear for hours already.

Brandon is just learning of the possible pregnancy. It’s a lot to take in.

And, let’s face it, it’s a lot to take in on camera.

Meanwhile, Julia tells the camera that she’s not buying Brandon’s bizarre reason for telling his mom.

She knows him and the dynamics of his toxic family too well for that.

Brandon can’t solve problems on his own.

This isn’t his choice — this is something that was done to him.

It’s the result of decades of constant control.

But the result is that Brandon doesn’t know how to approach a new problem head-on himself.

Instead, his first instinct when he’s uncertain is to run to his parents.

This is the result of years of manipulation.

It’s good that Julia at least recognizes what’s happening.

But is she really prepared to spend the rest of her life with a man who can’t buy a simple pregnancy test without holding his mom’s hand?

We’re genuinely rooting for these two, so … we hope that this storyline is an opportunity for growth for both of them.

Scott Disick to Kourtney Kardashian: I Would Marry You Right Now …

After 14 years and 20 seasons, Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end.

The landmark reality series begins its final season on March 18.

In a new teaser, one month before the beginning of the end, we see Scott and Kourtney have a very real talk.

Scott tells her that he’d marry her … but we sense a “but” coming on.

A previous sneak peek revealed to the world that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were spotted snuggling.

That’s nothing new by itself — how else did they have three kids together?

But in the context of exes and co-parents seeming to invent reasons to spend time alone together … that’s grabbing people’s attention.

In this sneak peek, most of it’s just the usual antics combined with waxing nostalgic and marveling at their own success.

“We didn’t even think we’d get to season 2,” Kim confesses. Kris does her “party mom” act one last time.

Elsewhere, Khloe demands that everyone do that awkward performative cheering that everyone on the planet hates doing.

But in one moment, it looks like Scott gets real with Kourtney.

He tells her “I would marry you right now” during what appears to be a heavy conversation.

Obviously, the sentence structure implies some sort of conditional or explanation of why he doesn’t … but we don’t know the context.

We do of course know that gorgeous Kourtney has recently begun dating Travis Barker.

Meanwhile, Scott is entangled with the 19-year-old knockout Amelia Gray Hamlin.

Obviously, they did not get married. What fans want to see is why.

We don’t know precisely when this conversation was filmed.

But since Kim shared a tearful look at their final day of KUWTK back in early January.

This scene has the potential to hurt some feelings … depending upon how it plays out.

Of course, also contingent upon how it all goes down, the only feelings involved could be disappointment from fans.

Odds seem pretty good that this conversation will be important and heavy, but change nothing about their dynamic in any real way.

We already know about Scott and Kourtney’s current dating lives. That quells the hype.

We have to face the music and acknowledge that there are reasons that the series doesn’t have the spark that it once did.

Only one of those reasons is what every single one of Kris’ children except for Kendall is now a parent.

Life just feels different when you have a child.

Another huge factor is that fans know so much of what’s going to play out on the show, thanks to intense reporting and social media.

Obviously, the show has leaned into that, teasing that viewers will see major newsworthy events all play out … but it’s not the same.

But even Real Housewives are better at saving major surprises for when they air. Fans of the Kardashians know what’s coming.

Some fans believe that one problem is that the Kardashians are too powerful.

Housewives, 90 Day Fiance stars, Teen Moms — none of these reality stars have unchecked veto power over their own footage.

The result is that embarrassing, hurtful moments that they never wanted to play out on TV are filmed and aired.

So, no, Scott and Kourtney aren’t going to suddenly opt to get married a whopping all these years later.

And if they do, it didn’t happen last year or in January — not with Amelia Hamlin snapping thirst trap selfies at Scott’s house.

That said … there are a lot of emotions about this show, and even people who’ve checked out for years are going to want to tune in for the finale.

Natalie Mordovtseva to Mike Youngquist in 90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: We Need Counseling to Save Our Relationship!

90 Day Fiance viewers are of two minds over the painful awkwardness of Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva.

Some feel that Natalie’s hypercritical and controlling behavior makes her the villain.

Others wonder if Mike’s dismissive silence earns him that odious title.

Season 8 resumes on Valentine’s Sunday, and in this sneak peek, Natalie suggests a real solution to their issues.

As this sneak peek for Season 8, Episode 10 begins, Natalie notes to Mike that they are halfway through their 90 days alloted by the K-1 visa.

The two of them are out at dinner, and at times during this scene, it feels like they might as well have been at different tables.

Mike tells Natalie that, at present, he is feeling like they need “another 45 to 90 days” to sort through their issues.

Despite some stumbling due to the language barrier, Natalie tells Mike that she would like for them to go to couples counseling.

(Okay, she talks about going to “a psychology,” but everyone — including Mike — understands her meaning)

Immediately, Mike shakes his head, saying “no” and “I’m not interested” … leaving some to wonder how he expects problems to magically be fixed in the remaining 45 days.

Natalie then awkwardly waits for Mike to say something more.

She still smiles even as she asks Mike, who is still eating, “why” he is immediately turning down this genuinely good idea.

Mike, who just acknowledged that there were problems, asks “what do you think needs to be talked about?”

Natalie says that the whole idea is that they’ll talk about whatever they feel like, but Mike turns the question on her.

She replies that because they come from “different mentalities” (an understatement), they could resolve these conflicts.

Natalie is very optimistic that this can be “fixed easily.” Given that one of their key issues is communication, she may be right.

At this point, Mike does this thing that viewers have noticed where he rolls his eyes and is dismissive.

Lots of people disagree with Natalie over many things — body-shaming, food policing, calling him “low class,” and might do the same.

But even some of those same fans are angered when he does this. Why? Because that’s not an acceptable way to treat your fiancee.

We do have to observe that Natalie is giving us the goofiest face in this scene.

It may be a cultural difference or a personal quirk or how she responds to being on reality TV, but she often smiles … seemingly at inappropriate times.

But hey, if it helps her keep positive when her fiance is being obviously rude to her, more power to her.

Natalie then emphasizes how important that it is that they resolve their issues.

Mike agrees, but for some reason claims that he’s “not ready” to go to “someone else” and talk about them.

This is a hangup that some people have … but it’s especially weird to see it from reality stars, who obviously don’t have the excuse of feeling like their problems are private.

Mike’s version of an explanation here is to say “I don’t wanna.”

He then asks “why can’t we talk to each other,” a problem that neither of them can answer but a professional couples counselor might.

Natalie replies: “Because we cannot agree on stuff.”

Michael, despite her pleas, doubles down on his refusal to make this simple move to improve and potentially even save their relationship.

Natalie is disappointed, visibly.

Mike does his best to explain why he’s being so muleheaded about this, for whatever that’s worth.

Mike complains to the camera that he has been trying to work with her, and now she wants to see a counselor, and he takes an annoyed tone and asks “So what, you’re gonna listen to him?”

It seems that he is fundamentally misunderstanding the point.

A couples counselor isn’t there to repeat one partner’s issues to the other. They’re there to help the two of them come together and resolve things … or realize that they don’t belong together.

Mike tries to make an excuse to say that it’s about spending a bunch of money “just to have a conversation with Natalie.”

It’s clear that the idea of any form of therapy makes Mike uncomfortable.

His refusal to work on things in a constructive manner, meanwhile, makes Natalie uncomfortable.

Natalie assures him that couples counseling helps.

Mike fires back: “We have some issues that are beyond talking.”

My guy, that is all the more reason to get a professional to help you.

They’re having clear communication issues that a third party could help immensely.

Meanwhile, Natalie feels hurt … and presumably, this scene comes before Mike confesses to her that he’s not sure if he’s ready to marry her.

If that were the case, he shouldn’t have started the K-1 visa process with her. They both have a lot to work on.

Yara Zaya Schools Jovi Dufren, Parents on Ukraine Stereotypes in 90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek

On Sunday, 90 Day Fiance Season 8 returns from its one-week hiatus.

Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren are going to be parents, so they are preparing themselves — and Jovi’s family.

But it turns out that Jovi and his mom have some “interesting” ideas about Ukrainian women, in the form of hurtful stereotypes.

Yara is setting them straight in this sneak peek.

Jovi has apparently told his parents that it was Yara’s “dream” to come to the United States even before they met.

Yara said that no, it was not … and then, in this clip, asked what gave Jovi such an idea.

“Because everybody from Ukraine wants to come to America,” Jovi claimed.

Now, we don’t see the context so there may be a lot of nuance lost between that exchange and what we next heard.

But Gwen then seemed to double down on Jovi’s claim.

She can be heard telling her husband that some Ukrainian women have one goal in life — to land an American man so that they can come here.

“I don’t like that so much hearing because it’s about my country,” Yara explained.

Apparently, the concept of rudeness and hurtful stereotypes had to be explained to the Dufrens.

Yara reasoned: “It’s kind of same stereotypes like many people think that Americans are so stupid.”

Even though Yara cited a real stereotype where Jovi’s family had just been describing one as if it were fact, the room went silent.

It’s awkward when people are called out on their rudeness, but it’s a good idea to call them out anyway.

After that, Yara spoke to the cameras.

“Jovi’s parents tell me a little bit about Ukrainian girls,” Yara described.

She did not enjoy hearing “That in Ukrainian girls is so much tricking, want to get to America. It’s not true.”

That is not the end of the conversation in this sneak peek clip, however.

Yara has made her feelings about New Orleans clear — and, of course, New Orleans has been her experience with America so far.

To Jovi’s parents, she made it clear that she’s unsure if she wants to live in America or if she would like for their family to live elsewhere.

Specifically, she loves the idea of living in Budapest — which is close to where her own mother lives.

Gwen, who has repeatedly seemed to forget that Yara has her own family with feelings just as valid as her own, doesn’t like that.

“She wants to go to another country and move Jovi to another country, so that’s a problem for us,” Jovi’s dad said to the camera.

“Also, in the future, if they have kids, I mean, this could be hard for us to see our grandkids. … We may lose our son,” he complained.

Interesting, we find ourselves wondering if they even realize that Yara is pregnant — because it doesn’t sound like they know that.

“I’m afraid that once they get married, that she’s got that hold,” Gwen complains.

She continues: And she will take him away from us.”

Brandon Gibbs’ Mom Cries: NO! You and Julia Can NEVER Leave My Farm!

This week’s episode of 90 Day Fiance was followed by a promo for Episode 9 that promised plenty of drama.

But all that people are talking about after they watch this preview is Brandon Gibbs … and his parents.

After Julia Trubkina’s ultimatum, Brandon finally stands up to his parents. Or he tries to, anyway.

Shocked and terrified that she might lose absolute control over her adult son, Betty turns on the waterworks — anything to keep him under her thumb.

In Brandon Gibbs’ part of this preview, it’s just him and his parents, Betty and Ron, at dinner at a restaurant.

We wonder if he chose it so that they wouldn’t make a scene in public. That … might not work.

He tells them that he and Julia need to move out of the house — something that he has promised Julia, who has been treated with indignity, disrespect, and forced to be free farm labor.

Betty’s first reaction is a very visible and a vocal astonishment.

Though she takes center stage, look at Ron, who also looks surprised.

But as Betty says “what?” he looks to her — almost as if seeking a cue on how to respond.

“No,” Betty says, at first in astonishment and horror and then, more adamantly: “No, no, no.”

There is a difference in tone between vocalizing your dismay and ordering someone to not do something.

Betty is clearly trying the latter.

After 27 years under Betty’s thumb as she made sure that her son was the least assertive man alive, Brandon is not going to spontaneously regrow a spine overnight.

That is probably why his first instinct is to throw his fiancee under the bus, as he did with the tea.

“It’s not my choice,” Brandon says.

Ron, clearly furious, says “it IS your choice.”

Now, Ron’s anger is ridiculous here — most parents would be overjoyed that their son has a full time job, a fiancee who loves him, and is looking for his own place.

But he is right — it’s Brandon’s choice. What Ron clearly does not understand is that it’s also the right choice.

We’re not seeing every moment of the conversation in this preview — it’s just a teaser — but Betty switches tactics, as all practiced manipulators do.

She tries to inflate Brandon’s ego to get him wrapped around her finger once again.

Betty tells him that he’s “the man of the family,” whatever the hell that nonsense is supposed to mean.

Again, we can acknowledge Brandon’s spinelessness while also recognizing where it came from.

Disturbingly, Brandon immediately tries to back down to appease his parents, suggesting a “bargaining chip” like allowing him and Julia to share a room.

That is unacceptable. He’s an adult and he needs, frankly, years of therapy to heal from his family’s toxicity.

Betty’s tour of manipulation tactics has not ended. She started with admonishment, then moved on to praise.

Now, she’s trying to guilt-trip Brandon, and it’s sure to work after 27 years of very effective conditioning.

“That she’s making you choose,” Betty begins to say in a shaky voice.

“… That makes me so sad,” she says while she begins to tear up.

First covering her mouth, so that her tears are visible, she then covers her face with her hands.

Mom Tears are never easy to witness. Well, except in this case, for those of us who aren’t Brandon, it’s pretty easy.

We’re not accusing Betty of faking her tears. Suddenly realizing that her son might leave her absolute control could certainly make her genuinely cry.

It’s just that it’s difficult — for me, impossible — to feel sorry for such a terrible, rotten person. The way that she has treated Julia and Brandon is not okay.

Maybe she’s genuinely expressing her anguish at the thought of her 27-year-old son living in an apartment and she’s upset. In the wise, wise words of Kim Kardashian: “It’s what she deserves.”

Brandon gibbs mom cries no you and julia can never leave my farm

Julia Trubkina to Brandon Gibbs on 90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: We Leave This Farm or I Go BACK to Russia!

After everything that Brandon Gibbs’ awful parents had already put her through, things got worse for Julia Trubkina.

Ron and Betty Gibbs demanded that Julia do even more labor on the farm, treating her not like a guest or a daughter-in-law but an indentured servant.

Well, this involuntary farmhand has had more than enough.

In this 90 Day Fiance sneak peek, Julia — her face smeared with dirt and who knows what else from her work — calls Brandon with an ultimatum.

“I try live here and I try help,” Julia acknowledges to the camera in a confessional.

“But,” she laments, “it’s not working.”

Julia desperately needs change — it’s up to Brandon what change that will be.

“I tired stay not my kitchen,” Julia justifiably complains, noting that Betty is clearly in charge of everything in the household.

“I tired not touch stuff. I tired be alone here,” she expresses.

“I’m tired go sneaky room,” Julia comments, “like I’m baby.” That’s an amazing line.

“I’m done,” Julia warns in her voiceover as she calls Brandon at work — because this is something that cannot wait.

“I know Brandon work right now,” she explains to the camera, “but I need talk with him.”

“I can’t wait talk with him later. I need now,” Julia emphasizes. She is absolutely right.

Mustering her courage, Julia tells Brandon over the phone: “I don’t want live here.”

“I don’t want take care animals,” she states. “I don’t want take care all what happens here.”

“I hate, I HATE this place,” Julia emphasizes.

“Why?” Brandon has the absolute gall to ask. The answer, of course, is that his mother is a nightmare who sees Julia as a laborer.

(Disclaimer: we do understand that Brandon is only like this because he had the extreme misfortune to have Betty and Ron as parents — over time, you grow numb to the injustice)

“Brandon, well you know why!” Julia fires back at the legitimately dumb question. “I’m dirty! I look like pig!”

“Brandon, I don’t want stay here,” Julia repeats.

“I want leave. I want leave now. I want leave now,” she reiterates for emphasis.

“I don’t want your parents say I need go this, I need do this,” Julia explains. Brandon, so accustomed to obeying Mother Dearest, needs it spelled out that this is not normal.

“I want leave now, you hear me?” Julia asks.

Brandon begins to beg her — as he has all along — to be patient, because it would be much more convenient for him if she didn’t mind this miserable toil.

“No, no, no, no, no,” Julia says. When he tries to put off the conversation, she adds: “I want talk now.”

“Now, I feel like I’ve mistake,” Julia admits to the camera. “I come America and not see what I want see, what Brandon promise me.”

Brandon admitted in the first episode that he deceived Julia deliberately to get her to come sooner rather than later.

In no uncertain terms, she tells him that she does not want him to make empty promises and then put it off and put it off.

Trying to change the subject, Brandon says that he does not understand her “phobia of animals.”

Well, Brandon, not everyone is condemned to grow up on a farm. But also, that doesn’t matter — and he needs to stop trying to change the subject.

“I not go America clean animals!” Julia correctly asserts. “Brandon, I try, but not working.”

“Brandon,” she pleads, “this make me crazy. This make me angry!”

“I want leave now, Brandon. Not tomorrow. Not after tomorrow,” Julia once again emphasizes. “Now.”

“If we not go, Brandon, I go Russia,” Julia says, issuing the long-overdue ultimatum. “You understand this?” Good for her!

The Bachelor Brings on 5 New Women: Is One of Them a Sex Worker?

The entire Bachelor Nation knows the touching, bittersweet reason Matt James became the Bachelor.

But just because the leading man is there for the right reasons doesn’t mean that all of the contestants are.

In this sneak peek, five new contestants show up to the house — and the ladies already there are immediately suspicious.

But things may be getting out of hand, as multiple women accuse an unnamed suitor of being some sort of “escort.”

ABC just released a sneak peek at Monday’s tense new episode.

Five new contestants are seen chatting with the originals — well, the remaining originals — as jealousy, suspicion, and resentment rear their ugly heads.

As the women pour out of the limos, at least one of them full-on begins making out with Matt.

The originals look out through the window and recoil in horror.

“There’s girls pulling up in cars,” one narrates. “One of them made out with him right out of the car!”

“I’m going to vomit right now,” another lady expresses.

Inside, the women make conversation … but do not make nice … with each other.

“You’re coming in as, like, a backup,” Victoria shades the new contestants in an attempt to put them in their place.

This backfires catastrophically when a quick-witted new girl replies: “They just wanted to save the best for last.”

However, it looks like a central topic of drama will be not with but about one of the new girls.

Anna begins to speak about a new arrival — one not identified in this stunning sneak peek — and alleging that she has been “entertaining men for money.”

Obviously, there are a lot of jobs that could be described that way … so she gets more specific.

“She may be an escort,” Anna suggests, implying that the woman works as a full service sex worker or in a job adjacent to that.

Adding to the drama is an apparently clueless Matt, who speaks to the cameras and says: “She could potentially be my wife.”

Obviously, there is no way to know if Matt is speaking about this particular unnamed girl … or if they just matched up those clips for a dramatic tease.

Matt doesn’t seem blissfully unaware for the entire teaser trailer, however.

We see Katie vow to “let him know,” and it is assumed — by the narrative of the sneak peek — that this is a promise to inform Matt of this rumor about the unnamed girl.

If the trailer is faithful to the events of the episode (which is admittedly a big if), Katie’s gambit works.

Matt james is sad

“It’s over, it’s over, it’s over,” a seemingly unhappy and despondent Matt announces.

In that same confessional, he says “Done.”

What is the context of that? Is it related in any way to the sex worker rumors? Literally who knows.

This could be a powerful educational moment for the franchise, as it would be amazing to have this scenario play out with Matt hearing the rumor and responding appropriately.

“Why do I care what job she has? What sort of person do you think that I am that I’d send somebody home for sex work? Should I send home accountants?” would send a positive, moral message.

Discrimination and stigma against sex workers is so normalized that this would be a shock to many. But … it’s not clear at all if that’s where this episode is headed.

Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina Broke Hot Tub Rules, Get Scolded by Betty in 90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek

A lot of people get embarrassed by their moms. Most people don’t have it quite so bad as Brandon Gibbs.

His mother, Betty, is the primary antagonist of his storyline with Julia Trubkina — and perhaps of all of Season 8.

In this sneak peek clip of Episode 7, she drags him over to the hot tub to scold him, in front of cameras and his fiancee.

Betty has rules for everything, from where Julia sleeps to the hot tub. And she accuses Brandon of breaking one of them.

As this sneak peek clip begins, Betty is leading Brandon and Julia behind her.

Having watched the entire cringeworthy clip, we have yet to see a single good reason for Julia to have been there, unless production asked for it.

It takes the “being at your friend’s house while he gets lectured by his parents” to a whole new level … and it’s all on camera.

Betty points to the state of the hot tub.

Now, I’m not an expert on hot tubs, but it appears that the cover is slightly uneven, like a not-quite-smooth bedsheet.

Apparently, to Betty, this is a big deal that has her “disappointed,” and when Brandon suggests that the wind is at fault, she rejects his explanation.

Then, Betty opens the lid to the hot tub and accuses the water of being “cloudy,” though Brandon does not seem to agree with her assessment.

What is really interesting here is that Betty isn’t accusing them of having sexytimes in the water.

Instead, she’s furious that she suspects that Brandon and Julia may have worn clothing into the hot tub.

Apparently, she has an all-nude rule for the hot tub, and accuses Brandon of having violated it.

That’s weird, coming from the woman who mandated that Brandon and Julia keep separate rooms … even though they are grown adults and engaged to be married.

Julia extremely politely asks if they can discuss the mixed signals that she’s getting from Betty.

“We use this for therapy, not for entertainment,” Betty adamantly says.

Julia isn’t sure what to make of that, and Brandon laughs.

“Stop!” Betty insists, apparently taking her extreme control issues to micromanaging her son’s emotional reactions.

Betty also refers to an “other thing” they “shouldn’t do in the water.”

Presumably, she is referring to sex — whether it is to having sex at all or to ejaculation, but she doesn’t say.

Speaking in the confessional, Betty complains about having had to drain the hot tub numerous times over the years after Brandon hooked up in it.

When Betty walks away, Julia confronts Brandon about the way that he just … nods like a f–king bobblehead (our words, not hers) when his mother speaks.

He doesn’t stand up to his mother. He doesn’t stand up for himself. He doesn’t stand up for Julia. He lets his mom chastize them both on camera for the world to see and then he apologizes to her for laughing.

Julia wants Brandon to be strong and assertive so that they can live their lives together. Honestly, we want that too, for Brandon’s own well-being. Betty needs to be weaned off of control.

Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira CLASH on 90 Day Bares All

We now know the initial cast of stars featured on 90 Day: Strikes Back, 17 days before its premiere on Discovery+ in January.

In this sneak peek of the newest spinoff, Brittany Banks and Yazan Abo Horira face off after their season, and they both have a lot to say.

90 Day: Bares All is hosted by Shaun Robinson, a familiar face to fans who watch her every year on the Tell All specials.

The new series offers fans a chance to learn more about the stars, including what went on behind the scenes, off-screen, and after production wrapped.

In this preview clip for the show, which premieres on January 4, 2021, we see Brittany and Yazan squaring off.

Now, when we left them off on Season 2 of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Brittany and Yazan were still a couple.

Brittany had needed to leave Jordan as the country went into pandemic lockdown, and Yazan escorted her to the airport to catch her flight.

Many months later, it has been clear for some time that these two are over. Now, we hope to learn why exactly they broke up.

So the format is basically like a 1 v 1 Tell All special.

Shaun speaks to both stars, Brittany and Yazan, remotely. They are obviously tuning in from different locations.

Yazan is most comfortable speaking Arabic, but unsung hero Adam — who translated in person on their season — is back to help convey Yazan’s words.

“The problem is that I reached a point that, I became blinded by love,” Yazan complains to the camera.

“I mean,” he insists, “I could not realize that she is really lying to me.”

In the sneak peek, Yazan continues, claiming: “she is taking advantage of me.”

Apparently, Yazan eventually decided that Brittany’s personal history — which she was open about in the very first episode — was a dealbreaker.

“She was dating older guys,” he notes.

Yazan continues: “Someone sent my father her [social media] accounts.”

Brittany can be seen rolling her eyes as the translator offers up Yazan’s side of things.

Among other things, Yazan’s family somehow came to believe — or at least gossip about the idea — that Brittany was “a porn actress.”

But while Yazan likes to portray himself as lovesick and deceived, Brittany is quick to note that there are major holes in his story.

Brittany can be heard asking Yazan why he told her upon their initial meetings that his parents enjoy her music video.

He also tells her at that time that his parents had seen her on social media.

Yazan says that Brittany was lying … at which point Brittany whips out the receipts.

In the texts, Yazan tells Brittany that his aunt saw her Instagram and thought that she was very beautiful.

That flies in the face of the idea that Brittany was hiding part of herself from him and his family.

His extended family may have only come to know things about Brittany later, but that’s not on Brittany.

Brittany finally revealed what her father has already told the world — the allegation that Yazan cheated on her “several times.

“That doesn’t fly with me,” she chides.

Brittany goes on to call Yazan a “little toxic manipulator.”

1000-lb Sisters Season 2 Trailer: Amy Slaton is Pregnant Too Soon!

1000-lb Sisters will return with a whole new season, and the premiere is just week away.

As this video teases, however, both Amy and Tammy have a lot on their plates — metaphorically speaking, that is — and are facing new challenges.

The Season 2 teaser trailer for 1000-lb Sisters starts off all laughs and smiles.

Amy Slaton and Tammy Slaton joke and laugh as they outfit themselves with facemasks and face shields.

Given their respective health struggles, the two of them would be at increased risk for complications or death from COVID-19.

Unfortunately, comical moments like hearing Amy’s tummy growling are in short supply.

Amy, you see, is pregnant.

We are even treated to glimpses of her maternity shoot, with white robes fluttering in the wind.

The problem, which Amy knows as she tells Dr. Procter, is that it’s simply too soon.

By her own admission, Amy is “scared as hell” about the whole thing, even though she is excited about this pregnancy.

She became pregnant four months after weight loss surgery. She had been instructed to wait two years.

Amy’s lighthearted “oops” may be an understatement.

There could be real consequences — for her pregnancy and to her health — for getting knocked up so soon.

And she is not the only one with health concerns right now.

Tammy reveals that she had reached Dr. Procter’s threshold for weight loss before her surgery.

Unfortunately, as she explains, she has fallen “off the wagon” in that department.

She is giving it another try, and her brother even offers to go on the diet in solidarity with her.

Change can be difficult to grapple with, and Amy notes that their house is a little too small to welcome a baby into.

“We’re thinking about getting a bigger place,” she tells a stunned Tammy.

Tammy expresses to the camera: “Everything’s gonna change.”

During footage that was obviously filmed during pandemic lockdown, Tammy speaks about how much she misses her boyfriend, Jerry.

“I don’t even want to be in this house without him,” she expresses.

Sure enough, Jerry shows up when it’s allowed (albeit not especially safer) … but family and fans alike have real questions about him.

Jerry insists that he’s all for Tammy getting the weight loss surgery.

However, Amy notes that Jerry likes Tammy at her current size, so she doubts whether he really wants to help or sabotage her.

In other words, she believes that Jerry is a “chaser” who fetishizes Tammy for her size and will either discourage her weight loss or leave Tammy when she’s “too small” for him.

Meanwhile, Dr. Procter is worried about Tammy’s health after her weight loss setback.

He talks about the staggeringly high risk of Tammy passing away in the next five years.

Unfortunately, rapid weight loss can also be a massive straight on the body … to the point where it almost feels like Tammy is in a no-win scenario.

1000-lb Sisters returns to TLC on January 4 for Season 2.

There are a lot of questions about the ethics behind these kinds of shows — the ways that they seem to contribute to the stigma of weight gain.

But we wish the very best for Amy and Tammy as they deal with some very real problems.

90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: Natalie Mordovtseva Packs Up in Tears One Day Before Wedding to Mike Youngquist

Ever since the 90 Day Fiance Season 8 trailer debuted last month, fans have been hyped for new and returning couples alike.

It already seems obvious that Mike and Natalie do not end well. This sneak peek makes it much more clear.

This is not Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva’s first season of 90 Day Fiance.

In the past, they have had their problems, from differences of religion to … well.

To this: real problems being on the same page in terms of affection with each other.

Mike is from the US and Natalie is from Ukraine.

And in this sneak peek for Season 8 of the series that started it all, Natalie is headed back to Ukraine.

The circumstances could not be more miserable.

According to the little graphic provided by TLC, this is happening just one day before the wedding.

Our guess is that it’s not happening at all now. We’re seeing her packing her bags.

“I will fly to Europe and from there,” Natalie explains through tears to the camera, “I will figure out how I [will] get home.”

“I don’t know honestly yet how,” she admits.

As you can imagine, this was filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There is no good time for a painful, last-minute breakup … but this year made already bad things even more complicated.

“I feel scared because of coronavirus,” Natalie explains.

It’s not just that COVID-19 is frightening to us all.

She has travel logistics to worry about in a time of massive global uncertainty.

Natalie has to make her way home to Ukraine despite that.

“And,” she laments, “I have to f–king go through the airport.”

Airports are more or less the last place that you want to be during a pandemic, folks.

“It’s f–king scary,” Natalie explains before correctly expressing: “And it’s not OK.”

Clearly, she is not merely speaking of the grim realities of navigating the world during such a crisis.

She is talking about Mike, whom she blames for this situation.

“I think that a man who does this to me doesn’t love me,” Natalie tells the camera.

In this clip, she does not explain what Mike allegedly did.

Did he dump her out of the blue? Did he get cold feet? Did they have a fight? Did someone reveal a secret? What is happening?

“This is my last day in America,” Natalie proclaims.

We have seen other previews making it clear that this season puts this couple through the wringer.

At one point, though we do not know the context, Natalie tells Mike: “Maybe I’m bitchy but I’m not a cheater, and you know it.”

We also see Mike apologizing to Natalie at one point, looking genuinely remorseful.

Natalie responds: “You’re sending me home?”

“I’m honestly scared,” she confessed to the camera.

“But I have to leave the country because I’m illegal here,” Natalie said.

It is unclear if she means that there is a problem with visa paperwork or if she simply means that she has to leave because she’s not marrying him.

Whatever the case, malice or paperwork blunder or something else, Natalie can be heard declaring: “Michael is [a] monster.”

90 Day Fiance Season 8 Trailer Teases Lies, Tears, Polyamory, and Ultimatums

As this season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way winds to a close, the original series itself is almost back.

TLC just dropped the first trailer for Season 8, showing new couples and some very familiar faces … and a whole lot of drama.

Three of these couples are familiar to longtime 90 Day Fiance fans, especially those who have seen Before The 90 Days.

Four of them are brand new, bringing their own fresh dynamics and complicated backstories, challenges, and drama.

And even some of these returning couples are bringing brand new angles in the season that may make or break them.

Probably the most recognizable returning couple is Rebecca Parrott and Zied Hakimi.

Rebecca is a fan-favorite, known for her no-nonsense statements, for intervening to protect her castmates, and for her liberal use of photo filters.

Seeing Zied get a tattoo is a surprise to many fans … but a mark of his commitment to marrying her.

In addition to Zied getting a tattoo (making us wonder if he can even go home again), it looks like they’re dealing with a timing issue.

Zied is not always overly friendly in the way that he shares things, but it looks like he is eager to marry Rebecca.

Rebecca does not like feeling rushed, so she balks when he sets a deadline that’s basically an ultimatum.

Arguably tied with those two are Tarik Myers and Hazel Cagalitan.

Tarik was of course bogged down in somewhat recent drama with Dean Hashim after the two left Pillow Talk with some hurt feelings.

But Tarik’s real, on-screen story is about Hazel.

This season, Hazal is coming to the US where it looks like she and Tarik may be looking for a polyamorous situation.

They’re not shopping for a “unicorn” threesome — Hazel is bisexual and has been closeted for most of her life while living in the Philippines.

In the US, it looks like she wants to be able to live as her authentic self.

That Hazel is bi is not actually new information — Tarik posted a tribute to her for Pride Month in 2019.

While not all (or even most) bi folks are polyamorous, it looks like Tarik is supportive.

We cannot emphasize enough how excited we are to watch this storyline in particular.

The third familiar couple is Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva.

Honestly, fans are shaking with the knowledge that these two are still together and trying to make it work long enough to show up on an other season.

We all remember how miserably unhappy they both seemed, even without their major religious conflict factored in.

This season, we’re going to see things get … even worse, it looks like.

Last season, it was Natalie hesitating to use words like “love” and making Mike leave the room upset.

Now, Natalie’s in tears and calling Mike a “monster” for making her leave.

On to the new blood, we have Brandon and Julia, a young and attractive couple.

Julia is Russian. Brandon is from a conservative American farming family who expect to see Julia work as a farmhand.

As if the prospect of farm labor weren’t nightmare fodder enough, it looks like their relationship will have ultimatums and a pregnancy scare.

Then there are Jovi and Yara.

These two seem to fall into the familiar role of a pair of young people who met and hooked up on vacation.

Having fun boning and even catching feelings is not the same thing as being compatible, or ready to commit.

Stephanie is a businesswoman in her early 50s who is pretty new to the world of serious relationships.

Ryan is from Belize and appears to be considerably younger.

Given that Stephanie says the words “sugar mama” in the trailer as Ryan asks for gifts, we may be looking at a “scammer” storyline … but we’ve all been surprised before.

Andrew and Amira appear to be an age-appropriate couple who fell head over heels for each other very quickly.

Amira — whose voice was distinctly French in the trailer — runs into complications on her journey to be with Andrew.

It looks like she will have an immigration detention horror story to share. As she says in the trailer, nobody deserves to go through that.

Season 8 premieres on December 6.

Ariela Weinberg Debates Circumcision in 90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: I Don’t Wanna Mutilate My Son!

On the most recent episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, fans watched Ariela Weinberg give birth.

Now, it’s almost time for her son’s circumcision … if Biniyam Shibre gets his way. Ari has real concerns.

“I knew he was always going to be circumcised,” Ariela admits.

“But,” she acknowledges, “I really feel like I’m taking away a choice for him in his life.”

Well, it’s hard to argue with that.

“This is his body,” Ariela correctly states, “and he should be able to decide what he wants to do with it.”

Sounds like a good description of fundamental human rights.

However, Biniyam has his own ideas about what is “best” for their newborn son.

“It is good for him, for [the] baby now, if you cut him,” Biniyam insists.

Possibly espousing the debunked theory that newborn babies do not feel pain, he adds: “He doesn’t feel, like, too much.”

“Don’t worry — I’ll decide for you,” Biniyam then says, which is just … never a smart thing to say to your significant other.

“I don’t want him to hate me when he’s older,” Ariela explains.

She worries that her son might realize what was done to him and resent her “because he thinks I mutilated him or something.”

Well, that would meet most definitions of mutilation, so the only thing up in the air would be how her son comes to feel about this irreversible cosmetic procedure.

“I don’t feel good about it,” Ariela expresses.

“But I know there’s no way Biniyam would not let me do this,” she adds, meaning to say that Biniyam will insist upon it.

“Certain people in my family would not agree with it,” Ariela adds, “so I feel certain pressure to do it as well.”

It sounds like Ariela is feeling torn between her love for her partner and for her father’s side of the family and her love for her child.

Ariela has to go to the bathroom.

When she returns, her son is being prepared to lose part of his genitals forever. In an adult, the foreskin would amount to 15 square inches of extremely sensitive tissue.

Ariela becomes increasingly nervous.

Biniyam seems irritated by her anxiety — or perhaps by his own inability to understand it.

“This is how it’s done,” he complains. “I don’t know why she is stressed.”

It’s very important to note that Biniyam, despite his obvious confusion over Ariela’s distress, is not a stupid person by any means.

Not only is he communicating in a second language, but he has not been exposed to as many ideas and cultures. As a result he is set in his ways.

When you see the world only one way for most of your life and are not exposed to anything else, it might not occur to you think “wait, is this right?”

This is yet another example of Ariela and Biniyam seeming to be unprepared for major conversations that anyone should have shortly after pregnancy, if not before.

(We get it, this was an unplanned pregnancy, so it would be weird to discuss irreversible cosmetic genital mutilation of infants with a random hookup)

In fairness, this time, it looks like Ariela had previously been willing to go along with Biniyam’s wishes, but seeing and bonding with her newborn is giving her second thoughts about doing this to him.

They will also have to continue to talk about Biniyam’s desire to baptise their son within his church.

In addition to the usual ethical concerns of pledging a baby’s soul to to a deity that the baby cannot understand let alone consent to, there is the demand that Ariela also convert, which she does not wish to do.

Biniyam believes that the baby could be at literal risk of literal damnation to literal Hell, so this is a complicated topic that they are unlikely to easily resolve. We’ll watch all of that play out on the show!

Clare Crawley Sneaks Around with Dale Moss: Quick, Hide From the Guys!

We already showed you the promo for next week, where Clare’s suitors trash talk Dale Moss.

But this new teaser is setting up viewers for the biggest twist in the history of the show.

ABC has released a new promo for next week’s The Bachelorette.

Clare and Dale cannot keep their hands off of each other, even when cameras are rolling … even when Dale’s competitors are already jealous.

On Tuesday, October 27, fans are going to see just how far the two of them would go to keep their romance under wraps.

Of course, as you can see in the promo itself, fans will have to wade through some excruciating puns.

“There’s a Clare frontrunner here,” the voiceover teases.

“And the men will just have to Dale with it,” the teaser declares. That was … awful. I’m almost enchanted.

But the real action is in the footage, where we see Clare and Dale in Clare’s sweet, making out.

It is complained that the two were simply supposed to hang out for five minutes … which somehow turned into a full hour.

When at least one of the other men works up the nerve and impatience to knock on the door, Clare realizes that she will probably have to open it.

“Let me go hide in the closet,” Dale says over footage of the two of them locking lips.

We’re not sure how convincing that would be if the others know that he’s in there — and it sounds like they do.

Also, the camera’s in there. Do they think that Clare was being filmed just, what, doing her makeup for an hour? Every season has a few himbos, but they can’t all be dumb.

Chris Harrison is then seen breaking some difficult news to the (other) contestants.

“Clare’s not coming to dinner,” he tells them.

This is when the situation devolves into chaos, yelling, and hurt feelings.

Obviously, this is when Kenny yells his infamous and long-teased line.

“I expected way more from the oldest Bachelorette,” he says in a line seemingly designed to hurt her feelings.

This is when we see Clare declaring “sick! sick!” seemingly at the universe around her.

At this point, one guy can be heard saying: “If you want to go be with Dale, then we’ll all go home.”

Though there was just one speaker saying this, it’s clear that his sentiments are not his alone.

We see a teaser of a number of the guys walking off.

At this point, some of us are reminded of that infamous “my subs have unionized” Reddit post from a polyamorous man.

In this case, it looks like Clare’s contestants are going on strike — or straight up rage-quitting.

Memes aside, though, you can tell that there are a lot of hurt feelings going on.

Puns aside, the narration then teases that all of this is “setting the stage for the biggest twist in Bachelorette history.”

The twist is no mystery — Clare will of course be replaced by Tayshia Adams. We’ll just get to see it all go down.

First, though, Clare will sob as Chris tells her that she has just blown up the show. He’s not wrong.

We are also looking forward to the roast — but not because we think that any of these men are going to be as funny as special guest star Margaret Cho.

Instead, it looks like some of them are going to use the event to go a little too hard on Dale … and it won’t go over well with Clare.

What a mess. We cannot wait to watch it all go down.

Armando Rubio’s Mom Doesn’t Want to Attend His Wedding to Kenneth Niedermeier

We watched Armando announce his engagement to his family on this week’s 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

Now it’s time for him to talk about wedding plans with his mother … and it’s not going well.

Oh no. This looks awkward and painful.

In this sneak peek for Sunday’s new 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Armando Rubio has a seat with his mother to do as she asked.

She told him that she wanted him to talk to her first about things, so that’s what he’s doing about wedding plans with his fiance, Kenneth Niedermeier.

“Tell me the truth. Were you surprised when I told you we got engaged?” Armando asks his mother.

She admits: “I was surprised because I didn’t expect it.”

“You didn’t even hint about it,” she accused.

“I told you, I am your mother,” she reminded him. “You must always tell me things first.”

It is clear to Armando and to viewers that this has less to do with the surprise and more to do with the fact that it’s a surprise related to Armando’s sexuality.

This is a painful moment, but Armando’s not hiding how he feels about it.

“I can tell my mom’s not thrilled still about hearing that Kenny and I are engaged,” Armando sadly shares to the camera.

“Her telling me that she would have preferred I told her in private shows me that she’s still struggling with it,” he observes.

Heartbreakingly, Armando adds: “I think in some ways maybe she feels embarrassed that I’m gay.”

“She needs to learn how to accept me without worrying what anybody says, thinks, or who is around,” Armando correctly emphasizes to the camera.

Armando came out to his family early this season, but it was not the first time.

He had previously been outed to his family — by his late ex-wife, no less — but was then forced back into the closet. No one should have to live a lie.

When Armando begins to speak to his mother about his and Kenneth’s plans for a wedding, she reacts with astonishment.

Apparently, she imagined that if they were married, they would simply fill out paperwork and be done with it.

Translation: she had hoped that it would be something easy to hide and not something that she or others might have to either attend or decline attending.

“We want to celebrate it,” Armando says as he for some reason finds himself having to explain the concept of weddings, like his mother is new to the concept.

“Like any other couple when they love each other and they get married,” he continues.

Armando then states, again as if speaking to a preschooler instead of a grandmother who is familiar with the concept: “It’s a very important day.”

Armando then has to ask multiple times if she will attend her own son’s wedding.

“I want it to be a happy day,” Armando emphasizes..

“I want to have full support from you and from and the family,” he explains, “So I can feel complete.” In this sneak peek, she does not give a verbal answer.

Kenneth Niedermeier Meets Armando Rubio’s Family on 90 Day Fiance

On Sunday, October 11, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way returns for the rest of Season 2.

In this sneak peek, we see fan-favorite couple Kenneth and Armando meet up with Armando’s family for the first time since their engagement.

This anxious clip of Sunday’s episode begins with Kenneth and Armando in the car together.

Kenneth is driving and Armando is so nervous that he is physically showing signs of anxiety, including getting uncomfortably warm.

He loves Kenneth and, though he knows that his family loves him, he fears that they will reject him when they see him with his partner.

Armando’s freakout is understandable, but Kenneth is quick to remind him that it’s not necessarily realistic.

Kenneth does admit: “It’s a lot riding on both of our shoulders that this goes well.”

But when they drive up to the house, Kenneth points out to Armando that a whole bunch of people who love him are there.

“Okay,” Kenneth says, “that’s a lot of people.”

“They’re all looking,” he observes,” and they’re all lined up.

But Armando still has his concerns, having only just come out as gay to his family a very short time ago.

“It’s a very difficult moment,” Armando describes to the camera.

He explains: “I’m concerned that when my parents see us, they might not be as accepting or kinda backtrack on everything.”

“But,” Armando affirms, “not accepting him is not accepting me.”

Armando’s young daughter, Hannah, has been staying with family while Armando made the trek up to their new home and got things set up.

She runs delightedly to Armando, jumping into her father’s arms.

Hannah then runs over to give Kenneth a hug — having met him before they were filming, and likely spoken to him multiple times over voice chat.

“It was just wonderful seeing her again,” Kenneth beams.

“It’s all worth it to just see her shine and to just hug her and just love her,” he adds.

Kenneth already raised four children, all of whom are now adults. He’s a grandfather. He is also prepared to love and provide for Hannah.

Armando’s mother, Virginia, is a little less warm.

Though we see her shake Kenneth’s hand with a smile, her husband is conspicuously absent from the gathering.

She explains to Armando that his father is not there because he was “tired.” Even I, rusty in my Spanish, heard her say “cansado.”

To Armando’s face, she says that his father is merely a little tuckered out.

It’s not very convincing. Not to us, and likely not to Armando.

Speaking to the camera, the truth makes itself known as she expresses how she and likely Armando’s father feel.

“When I saw my son, Armando, I was very happy,” Virginia says.

She then confesses: “But seeing Armando with a man … it’s something strange but … I don’t know.”

We know: it’s called homophobia.

Yes, the first step to overcoming a prejudice is to admit that you have it.

But it’s similarly understandable for people to feel downright uncomfortable hearing someone admit to bigotry, especially towards their own son and his partner.

That she is older and perhaps from a conservative area are explanations, but of course not excuses. There is never an excuse for homophobia.
