Duane Chapman Quashes Mystery Woman Rumors: Beth Always, Beth Forever!

In late June, beloved Dog's Most Wanted star Beth Chapman passed away at 51 after an agonizing battle with throat cancer.

Though he is grieving his wife's death, Duane Chapman was seen with a mystery woman, leaving fans wondering if he's found new love.

Not so fast, says Duane's daughter.

Dog: Bounty Hunter

It was reported that Duane "Dog The Bounty Hunter" Chapman was seen dining in LA with a gorgeous brunette.

The woman was described as not only beautiful, but curvy in the exact ways that the reality star is known to appreciate.

Both were dressed well, both were seen laughing together, and both were picked up by the same driver.

Ultimately, reports read, that driver took them back to the same hotel.

That story got fans' imaginations running wild and their tongues wagging -- had he found new love?

Duane is now making it very clear that he's not looking to replace Beth -- if such a thing were even possible.

See, his daughter Cecily shared a tender throwback photo of Duane and Beth.

Duane then shared the imagine himself, making his feelings known with a simple, sweet hashtag.

"#alwaysandforever," Duane tagged the caption of the photo.

That is not the sort of language that you use if you're courting a potential new lady love.

So who was the mystery woman?

It was later revealed that the bubbly brunette was a friend and colleague of Duane's who was also fast friends with the dearly departed Beth.

The woman worked on Dog's Most Wanted.

And meeting for dinner isn't as intimate as it sounds -- as there were more than a half-dozen other colleagues dining with them.

It's always interesting to see what a carefully worded report can imply by just leaving out a couple of important details.

Duane's daughter Bonnie also recently spoke about her father's status as a single widower.

During an Instagram Q&A, a fan could not help but ask: "Do you think your dad [will] someday remarry?"

"Nope, he found his soulmate,” Bonnie answered easily.

She explained that, quite simply: “No one can replace her in his heart."

"Their love was one of a kind," Bonnie affirmed. "It made me believe love truly exists."

Beth Chapman Remembered

Many people who know that they were terminally ill encourage their spouse to look for love again.

Beth had a different attitude with Duane, as he explained earlier this summer.

"For two to three years, she knew this might happen," Duane said, reflecting upon his wife's tragic death.

"So she would say, ‘Who is going to sit next to you?’" he recalled.

"And I said, ‘No one.’"

"When she said, “Big Daddy, you better not let another girl take my place,'" he added.

Duane revealed that he promised his wife: "I won’t."

"Even though she is not physically there,” the reality star stated. “Mentally and spiritually, she is there."

Perhaps he will remain single throughout his life.

Or perhaps, as countless widows and widowers before him have discovered, he'll find new love without replacing Beth in any way, shape, or form.

For now, he is in mourning.
