Eminem Fires Back At Nick Cannon After Diss Track: ‘I Demand An Apology Nicholas’

There’s just something we love so much about a 10-year-long feud bubbling back up into the public consciousness. Give us more!!!

Eminem and Nick Cannon are doing just that this week, exchanging diss tracks, responses, and re-igniting a Mariah Carey-involved fight that’s been going on for years now. And we’re seriously here for it! Especially all the new updates and developments!

As you’ll recall, this whole thing started after Eminem appeared to call out the WildN’ Out host in his feature on Fat Joe‘s new track Lord Above, which dropped late last week. Then on Monday, Cannon clapped back at the 47-year-old rap legend, dissing him openly and repeatedly on The Invitation, which featured a few other battle rappers and Suge Knight, for good measure.

We went over a few of Cannon’s biting lyrics yesterday, but it appears one other verse we didn’t cover really got to Marshall Mathers! Speaking about the Detroit artist’s alleged chauffeur, Cannon rapped at one point (below):

“I heard your chauffeur got a video of you suckin’ a c**k /  You paid him off, then laid him off, now who really the opp? / Suge called me the new ‘Pac, I ain’t no killer but don’t push me / How the f**k y’all got me battlin’ Elvis Pussly?”

Uh-oh!

Eminem quickly took issue with that verse in particular, tweeting at Cannon (without @’ing him, but still) and calling him a “bougie f**k” while denying ever having had a chauffeur:

Ha!

About half an hour later, Mathers added another tweet to the feed, “demanding” an apology from the longtime TV host and performer:

LOLz!!! OK, so he’s definitely having a little fun with it. You know, until he releases his own vicious diss track…

He didn’t have much else to say about it (yet), though #RIPNickCannon was trending on Twitter for much of Tuesday morning, and it’s clear fans from all sides have a LOT to say about this one.

That commentary includes a walk down memory lane, where one user recalled how Mac Miller long ago crowned Eminem the winner here (below):

That’s gotta hurt, Nick!!!

And as others pointed out throughout the morning, the vast majority of Twitter commentary seemed to take Slim Shady’s side, anyways:

Like we said… clear winner or not, this thing has history, y’all! Ten years in the making!!

We’ll leave it up to you, though, Perezcious readers! Who do U think is coming out ahead in this ongoing battle for the ages? Are you sidin’ with Suge’s boy here or is it #RIPNickCannon for you, too?!

Sound OFF about the whole feud and more in the comments (below)!!!
