More Bad News! Tori Spelling Reportedly Owes Over $1 MILLION In Taxes Following ‘BH90210’ Ending!

Upset over the ending of BH90210? We guarantee Tori Spelling is more upset about it than you.

According to RadarOnline, the actress needed more than a season’s worth of precious paychecks to pay off the amount she owes in taxes — which is apparently now at a whopping $1,182,760!

The Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds told the outlet that the mother-of-six’s June 13, 2016 state of California tax lien for $259,108 has not been released. Moreover, the star’s state tax lien filed on April 17, 2018 for $31,775 has also yet to be paid — and that’s just in state taxes.

On a federal tax level, the IRS reportedly cleared Spelling and husband Dean McDermott’s bank accounts to pay off a $707,487 federal tax lien. But the clerk confirmed to Radar the lien has not been fully paid off. On top of that, Spelling’s $184,390 federal tax lien filed on May 18, 2017 also remains unsatisfied.

Sadly, that’s not the extent of Spelling’s money problems…

As we reported, the star was sued by American Express in January 2016 for failing to pay her credit card bills. In October of that year, she was ordered to pay back $87,594.55. The bank filed a Writ of Execution on August 16, 2019, asking the Sheriff or Marshal of the County of Los Angeles to enforce the now $88,391.25 judgment owed.

There’s more: the couple are also at the mercy of City National Bank after failing to pay back a $400,000 loan. The bank was awarded a judgement of $202,066 in 2017; the bank claimed Tori and Dean never paid, and a bench warrant was issued after the duo skipped out on their court appearance.

The Spelling-produced Beverly Hills, 90210 meta-revival was thought to be a financial life vest for the embattled actress, as she received $70,000 per episode for the series — and an extra $15,000 per episode for co-creating the show that routinely poked fun at her real life money problems.

As viewers will remember, the pilot episode featured Spelling (who played a heightened, but probably just-as-broke version of herself) lamenting over her money problems while referencing the college bribery scandal Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman Macy are currently caught up in, quipping:

“I need that paycheck. Mama’s got six kids! Do you know how much college bribery money I’m going to need? At least this reunion is going to cover our bills for a month!”

But despite its meta humor, the series was canceled by FOX after just one season.

While the show won’t go on, the banks will — so, we hope Tori finds another source of income ASAP!
