Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Are ‘Genuinely Happy’ As They Set Official Date To Close Buckingham Palace Office & Leave For Good!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have scheduled a spring cleaning for their soon-to-be defunct office at Buckingham Palace — or, more accurately, a spring purging!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will officially no longer be senior members of the Royal family as of April 1, the date all the Megxit changes will officially go into effect.

That includes permanently shutting down operations at their Buckingham Palace office as they continue to move their lives across the pond. This news was expected, of course, seeing as the rogue Royals already axed several of their Buckingham palace staff members, including their private secretary, communications chief, and press officer. Now, it’s clear Harry and Meg aren’t wasting any time in closing up shop for good!

While business matters are still being sorted out, the couple are apparently already living their best lives away from the chaos of the UK. A source told Us Weekly that Harry and Meg are “adapting to life in North America” with their 9-month-old son, Archie Harrison, adding that they are “genuinely happy” with their new living situation.

The insider dished:

“Harry and Meghan escaped the chaos back home and are genuinely happy. They’re really enjoying Canada; it’s a completely different world from what they’re used to in London.”

Specifically, the commoners. The source added:

“The locals don’t bother them, and they have the freedom to do whatever they want. Meghan endured a lot of stress in England. She’s happy to be away from all that. Right now they’re all about getting Archie settled.”

Of course, the couple will still be traveling back to the UK over the next few months for several appearances they’ve already committed to.

Harry will attend the Invictus Games event on February 28. The former Suits star will join him at the Endeavour Fund awards on March 5, and again at the Mountbatten Festival of Music on March 7. The couple are also expected to join the Queen and the rest of the royal family at Westminster Abbey on March 9 for Commonwealth Day.

A second Us source noted:

“The Queen’s hoping everyone will put on a united front when Harry returns to London in March — even though there’s still tension behind closed doors. It’ll be interesting to watch their body language and see how they are together.”

Interesting indeed… Sounds like the next few weeks are basically going to be Harry and Meg’s farewell tour in the UK.

Do U think there will be more drama before they leave for good, Perezcious readers?
