It's no secret that Mike Berk and Ximena Cuellar's relationship hasn't been easy.

He has baggage. She has baggage. They have a huge language barrier.

They also have a lot of genuine love ... and, despite various hurdles to come, they're clearly still together.

In fact, a new report reveals that Mike and Ximena are in Colombia right now, filming for a new 90 Day Fiance season.

Despite a lot of very genuine love for each other, Mike and Ximena have had some issues from the start.

Mike had only been in Colombia for a short time before he learned something that Ximena should have told him a long time ago.

Following the agony of her second C-section, she had her Fallopian tubes cut and cauterized, preventing her from conceiving.

Mike wants children, and Ximena knew it, which was why she was so nervous to tell him.

While conception is normally possible after that procedure using IVF, Ximena is under the impression that it's not.

Frankly, even if a doctor tells them that it's an option, Ximena might understandably not be too eager to endure another pregnancy.

Ximena had concerns of her own.

Like countless millions of women all around the world, she wants to be a partner, not her man's mother or maid.

She noticed that Mike had some tidiness issues, some manners issues, and some hygiene issues.

Some of this is just a personality difference -- not everyone's preferred way of managing a house lines up.

Other aspects were likely due to Mike having been single since  high school and living with his father and grandfather.

He promised Ximena to work on those things so that she can treat him as a partner and not like a third son.

Towards the end of Mike's visit to Colombia, he took Ximena and her entire family out to dinner.

It was a beautiful evening, and Mike proposed to Ximena.

Despite some earlier elements of indecision, and prompted in part by her family's encouragement, Ximena said "yes."

That's all well and good, their airport goodbyes were beautiful.

But we know from previews that Mike feels some distance from Ximena and returns to Colombia.

The earliest previews for the season showed Mike fleeing at some point.

Channeling his inner Paul Staehle, he just sort of runs away from Ximena after being emotionally overwhelmed in a bad way.

With that in mind, we all know that it's possible that they could have ended right then and there.

However, we saw on social media that it appears that they may have renewed their proposal via social media.

This and other strong hints online suggested that they are still a couple, even if they broke up during filming.

It appears that their timing worked out to benefit them in more ways than one, because they are filming again.

Blogger Mommy Says Bad Words took to Instagram to share some exciting news for the couple's fans.

Mike is back in Colombia with Ximena, and they are said to be filming for a new season.

In a recording from Ximena's brother's page, you can hear him say Mike's name during a short poolside clip.

The bar in question is called BAR Paraiso and is located in Colombia.

Though Mike and Ximena do not physically appear in the short clip, they are both tagged -- and Mike is directly mentioned.

We likely will not know the context of the pool visit until their eventual return to our screens, much later this year.

It is speculated that Mike and Ximena may appear on Season 9 of the flagship series that started it all.

We can only guess.
