It’s been two months since Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married, and insiders say the two are still very much in their honeymoon phase.

Kourtney and Travis are about the same age, and they’ve both been wildly successful in their own careers, so there’s no reason to be worried about any sort of power imbalance.

Still, many fans fear that Kourtney has been subtly altering appearance in order to better align herself with Travis’ aesthetic.

And indeed it does seem that Kourt’s personal style has been leaning in a more punk rock direction in recent months.

Of course, she’s probably shelling out for $1,500 distressed Balenciaga tees and Tiffany safety pins instead of just shopping at Goodwill like a true punk, but that’s a conversation for another time.

Fans began to express concern around the time that Travis posted an edited photo in which Kourtney appeared to be heavily tattooed.

Now, Kourtney doesn’t have any tattoos, and while it’s never too late to alter one’s look, she’s probably not trying to get full ink sleeves as a 43-year-old mother of three.

Travis probably meant for the pic to be taken as a joke, but some folks felt that it was an insensitive one that suggested he would like Kourtney to adopt a more adventurous aesthetic.

Ever since, fans have been on high alert for indications that Travis is pressuring Kourtney to alter her appearance in order to suit his taste.

So it was that many of Kourtney’s Instagram followers saw red flags all over some of her recent posts.

Yes, Kourtney is rocking heavy bangs, heavy eye makeup, and some massive fake lashes in some of her latest photos.

There’s nothing wrong with any of that, of course — in fact, the look is really working for Kourt!

But as many fans pointed out Kourtney is much a more bohemian look than usual, with some even going so far as to declare her a”goth.”

Obviously, that’s taking a little far, and we doubt that Kourt is gonna start rocking red eyeliner and listening to the Cure anytime soon.

(Although Travis has probably been turning her onto a lot of good music — we doubt that she and Scott spent much time sitting around listening to vinyls!)

But since fans were already on the lookout for an abrupt shift in Kourtney’s style, we suppose it’s not surprising that this one attracted so much attention.

Concerned parties can breathe easy, however, with the knowledge that the change in Kourtney’s aesthetic appears to have been only temporary.

She posted the pic above on Wednesday, and it looks like she’s back to her old style.

And we doubt that Travis has been pressuring her to change things up.

After all, he says he had a crush on her for years before they started dating.

And we bet her ultra-California Kardashian style was part of the attraction!
