It is official. Amy Robach and Andrew Shue are divorced!
In case you don’t recall, the 50-year-old journalist and the Melrose Place star’s split came to light months ago when pictures of her and her former Good Morning America co-host T.J. Holmes getting very cozy together emerged. Despite the controversy (and their firing from GMA) following the news, Amy and the 45-year-old reporter have been showing off their relationship and packing on the PDA unabashedly over the past couple of months.
As for their former relationships? T.J. filed for divorce with his estranged wife Marilee Fiebig in late December – but Amy oddly had yet to move forward with her divorce to Andrew at the time. Why is that? A source explained to The Sun earlier this week that the former couple was “continuing to hash out their divorce outside of court” and planned to file “once it’s ready to be finalized.” Considering they were together for 12 years, they probably had a lot of details to go through and sort out! However, it looks like they’ve finally reached an agreement and made their split official!

According to Dailymail.com on Friday, Amy and Andrew quietly settled their divorce more than six months after the pair decided to end their marriage. Although the details of their settlement have remained under wraps, the two reportedly worked out an agreement through mediation and plan to share custody of their dog, Brody, as they do not have any kids together.
Amy shares 19-year-old daughter Ava and 16-year-old daughter Annalise with ex-husband Tim McIntosh, while Andrew shares 26-year-old son Nate, 24-year-old son Aidan, and 19-year-old son Wyatt with ex-wife Jennifer Hageney. But it looks like their kids have a close relationship – despite their parents’ divorce and the drama surrounding it. Although Amy has moved on from Andrew, a former friend of the two noted to the outlet that the whole situation is very “sad” at the end of the day, saying:
“It’s an awfully sad end to what was a great marriage. Andrew was so into her. But at least they worked out their split through mediation rather than some ugly legal battle. And they sorted out custody of Brody.”
Despite the upsetting circumstances, Amy didn’t seem to be too down about the finalization of her divorce! She and T.J. were seen walking around, arm-in-arm, and smiling outside his apartment in New York City. You can ch-ch-check out the pictures HERE.
It is certainly refreshing to see them work out their divorce as amicably as possible. Given the scandal surrounding around their divorce, no one would have been surprised if things got messy if they took a legal battle to court! And for T.J., that seems to be the direction his divorce with Marilee is heading! Reactions, Perezcious readers? Let us know in the comments.
