Raquel Leviss Tried To ‘Serve’ Scheana Shay With Legal Papers During Vanderpump Rules Reunion Taping, But…

Raquel Leviss tried to make a big legal show of her return to the Vanderpump Rules universe during Thursday’s reunion special taping. But it sounds like the plan blew up in her face IMMEDIATELY?!

We’ve been on the edge of our seats awaiting news from the Bravo reunion’s scheduled sit down for a while now. Of course, it would be the first time Leviss comes face-to-face with much of the VPR cast after her shocking months-long affair with Tom Sandoval was first revealed at the beginning of March.

But it was also set to be the first time Raquel gets close to cast mate Scheana Shay — you know, the one who hauled off and allegedly punched the 28-year-old right after the affair reveal popped up!!

As Perezcious readers will recall, back at the beginning of this month, Raquel took out a restraining order against Scheana. That came about after an apparent physical altercation the two had once Shay learned about the infidelity Leviss and Sandoval committed against his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix. The restraining order threw reunion taping plans for a loop. After all, it appeared Raquel and Scheana weren’t going to be allowed in the same room together. So there couldn’t be any confrontation, right?!

Well, not quite. On Thursday, the VPR crew taped their after-show with Bravo exec and host Andy Cohen. According to one legal expert, Leviss “served” Brock Davies‘ 37-year-old wife with “a document” that had… NO LEGAL MEANING.

Naema Rahmani, an attorney for Shay, spoke to Page Six late on Thursday night about the situation. According to Rahmani, Rachel — the lawyer very purposely used Leviss’ birth name instead of her stage name (!) — had Cohen give a document to Scheana at the taping.

However, there was a little problem:

“Rachel had Andy ‘serve’ Scheana with a document during the reunion, but the papers have no legal meaning. It was a request to dismiss a complaint or a civil lawsuit, but Rachel had requested a permanent restraining order, which is something completely different.”

Ummm What???

The West Coast Lawyers exec continued:

“There is no way for Rachel to ‘drop’ the temporary restraining order before next week’s hearing. This is California law and even on the court’s website.”

OMG!

And here’s where it gets even crazier! The choice to “serve” Scheana didn’t even have legal standing!! Normally when you serve somebody, you utilize a process server. That person is basically a court liaison who delivers official subpoenas to people involved in legal cases. But Andy isn’t a process server (obvi), and the papers in question were not (yet) a legally-recognized document!

Rahmani claims Leviss simply had Cohen hand Scheana a document her attorneys plan to file in the future. So there’s no legal connection or confirmation now!!

The former federal prosecutor said the document had not been “filed with the court,” and thus there was “no file stamp in the top right corner” of the packet to make it official. Shay’s legal eagle continued:

“This was just another public relations stunt by Rachel and her team. If Rachel really wanted to make this go away, she would come out and publicly say the ‘punch’ never happened and she is sorry for all the harm she caused Scheana, Ariana, and her other friends.”

Damn!!!

FWIW, as we already expected, Leviss and Shay did not physically tape together on Thursday, anyways.

Per Page Six, and judging by seating charts Bravo themselves released on Thursday, Leviss was around for the first half of the after-show. Then, she “bowed out halfway through,” and Scheana walked on set to film her portion. As required by the original (real) restraining order, it appears the duo consistently stayed 100 yards away from each other as required.

That restraining order continues to remain in effect, too. And it will until the next scheduled court hearing on the matter, which comes next Wednesday.

Oh, man. This Raquel-vs-Scheana off-shoot spat bubbling up as part of the Scandoval s**t show just keeps getting juicier and juicier!!

Reactions, Perezcious readers??
