Katie Maloney BLASTS Tom Schwartz’s Support For Tom Sandoval Amid Cheating Scandal: ‘Read The Room!’

Katie Maloney is NOT here for Tom Schwartz’s commentary on Scandoval!

If you haven’t seen it yet, the bar owner appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and it was messy AF! Schwartz broke down everything he knows about the affair between his bestie Tom Sandoval and their Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss, including when he first learned about the infidelity, why he didn’t tell Ariana Madix, and what he blames Sandoval’s actions on.

While he was clearly upset by certain aspects of the cheating scandal, he wasn’t THAT angry — especially compared to other castmates! At one point, the 40-year-old even asked fans to go easy on Sandoval. He began:

“Tom, I know the whole world hates you, but I’m not gonna abandon you, buddy. I’m not going to abandon you. He knows he’s a monster for what he did.”

Here comes the insane request…

“If you see him, maybe give him a hug even if he doesn’t deserve it. Give him a hug. He’s down bad.”

Is he serious?!

Katie was watching the late-night show, and she had some thoughts about that ridiculous request. Taking to Twitter to reshare a clip of WWHL, the Bravo-lebrity slammed her ex-husband, writing:

“You’re the only that wants to hug him dude. READ THE ROOM!!!”

She’s not wrong! What was he thinking??

In her Instagram Story, the 36-year-old reality star went on to slam the entire conversation, saying it was “not good,” remarking:

“Tom, I have two words for you. Media training! Cause you’re just going to say whatever lands in your head and that’s not good.”

Hah! You’d think he would’ve gotten a boatload of media training BEFORE going on the talk show to spill the tea about one of the biggest scandals to come out of VPR in years! But judging from his frazzled commentary, it certainly doesn’t look like it. That said, he should’ve known this hug comment was going to backfire!

Ever since Ariana called things off with the TomTom co-owner last month after discovering he was having a months-long affair with Raquel, the entire cast has been up in arms over the scandal. Most have sided with Ariana and are taking their anger out on the new lovebirds. Due to so much tension among the group, when the cast filmed the highly-anticipated reunion just weeks ago, things almost turned physically violent!!! Yet Schwartz thinks people should just forgive and forget Sandoval’s actions cause he’s sad?? Let’s not forget he brought this on himself! Reactions, Perezcious readers?
