Steelers Quarterback Kenny Pickett Reveals the Reason Why He Skipped Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Shows in Pittsburgh

As you probably know, Taylor Swift is traveling the country right now and stopping at all of the major NFL stadiums for her Eras tour.

At most of the stops along her route, the various quarterbacks of the NFL teams have been asked if they’re attending. Some big QB names that have attended is former Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who attended at Met Life stadium, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who also went to a Met Life show, Patriots quarterback Mac Jones at Foxborough, and more.

Well, Taylor Swift‘s most recent stops were at Acrisure Stadium, where the Pittsburgh Steelers play. Naturally, Steelers beat reporters asked quarterback Kenny Pickett if he’d be in attendance at the show. He confirmed he would not be attending…but he had a pretty good excuse!

Kenny‘s wedding is just a few days away! He and his fiancée, Amy Paternoster, got engaged last year.

“We’re driving home on Friday to get [the final wedding details] all squared away,” Kenny said about his upcoming wedding. “But yeah, we’re like 10 days out so, I’m pumped, it’s going to be awesome.”

The reporter then asked if he was skipping Taylor‘s show. He confirmed he was, but added, “I hope she can forgive us, but maybe we’ll be at the next one.” This means that Kenny‘s wedding is likely happening this upcoming weekend. Congrats!
