A rumor about Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner‘s divorce was just denied by another person directly involved in it.

By now, you might have seen a report suggesting that the Yellowstone actor suspected that his estranged wife had an affair with his tenant, Daniel Starr.

Daniel was asked about the situation during a recent outing, and he spoke very candidly.

Speaking with TMZ, Daniel was asked if he and Christine were involved with each other. His answer was direct: “Absolutely not.”

“I have nothing to say about that. I respect their privacy,” he added when asked if Kevin had accused him of cheating with his wife.

Regarding their relationship, he described Kevin as “a good guy.”

“I have no problem with him whatsoever,” he continued. “I was just a tenant. I had a tenant-landlord relationship. Nothing else … just a guy who paid my rent. Just a renter.”

The couple split in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

As they try to come to terms, Christine addressed a common rumor about the end of their relationship and revealed how much she is seeking in child support.
