During an appearance on Kyle Meredith With… podcast, Jason opened up about his involvement in the movie, and also shared just who he’ll be playing.
“I got a little, small [part],” Jason teased. “They threw me some bones, and I said, ‘Yeah, absolutely! In any capacity.’”
He went on, saying that he “just wanted to be a part of it, so it’s a three-day cameo, and I think it will be fun.”
Jason also confirmed that he’ll be “playing the Luau manager. I get to see the kid that’s playing my character that I voiced, David. And I’ll get to see Lilo and I’ll get to see Nani, the new people, the actors that are playing them. So it’ll be fun.”
Kaipo Dudoit will take on the role of David in the live-action, with Maia Kealoha as Lilo, Sydney Agudong as Nani, and Courtney B. Vance, Billy Magnussen, and Zach Galifianakis also part of the cast.
