Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are speaking out amid the report that they are separating after 27 years of marriage.

The couple, best known for appearing on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, took to their Instagram accounts on late Monday night (July 3) to release a joint statement just hours after the news broke.

In the statement, Kyle and Mauricio addressed the reports and denied that they’re getting divorced.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding divorcing are untrue,” they said. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”

“There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part. Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative,” they continued. “Thank you for the love and support, Kyle & Mauricio.”

The initial report claimed that the former couple are still living under the same roof and that they remain amicable.
