Tom Holland is going viral after the release of the latest episode of his Apple TV+ show The Crowded Room.

In the series, the 27-year-old Spider-Man star plays a character named Danny who is dealing with a mental disorder similar to Dissociative Identity Disorder where he has “alters,” or alternate personalities.

One of Tom‘s “alters” is a woman named Ariana, who has an intimate scene in the eighth episode of the show. The scene, which Tom acted in, is attracting attention online.

In it, Tom and a male partner hook up in the bathroom. A brief clip of the moment has fans feeling so many different ways.

“This scene is actually kinda [of] sad to me,” one user tweeted, noting that Tom‘s character appeared “so embarrassed and distraught” to realize that he had “sexual encounters as his alters.”

Others praised Tom for his acting in the episode, where he embodied his various personalities.

“The director yelled ‘take five’ but tom holland heard ‘change lives’ and went with it,” another person added, sharing another snippet of the character as Ariana. Of course, the scene also left fans excited with some people highlighting the mature content.

Tom has spoken candidly about the emotional toll The Crowded Room had on him, sharing that he decided to take a year off acting after finishing filming. He also revealed what his girlfriend Zendaya had to “put up with” from him while working on the series.
