Jamie Lee Curtis Celebrates Becoming a 'Movie Grandmother' After Lindsay Lohan Gives Birth

Jamie Lee Curtis‘ family is increasing with the birth of her “movie daughter” Lindsay Lohan‘s son Luai.

On Monday (July 17), it was confirmed that the 36-year-old Mean Girls star had given birth to her first child with husband Bader Shammas.

Jamie, who starred in Freaky Friday with her, hopped online to celebrate the news.

“MAGIC MONDAY,” Jamie wrote in a post on Instagram that featured two photos of them together. “My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother. Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai!”

Although it has been years since Jamie and Lindsay released Freaky Friday, Jamie remains one of her on-screen daughter’s biggest supporters. She even spoke out back in April when Lindsay confirmed her pregnancy.

They’ll also get a chance to work together again! If you missed it, earlier this year it was confirmed that Freaky Friday 2 was in the works, and both stars were set to return.

In fact, Jamie has already revealed some ideas she has for the plot.
