Britney Spears‘ much-followed new single with will.i.am is out! And it’s… interesting?!
Late on Thursday night, the Toxic singer popped up with new music on YouTube and other song-sharing platforms with the highly-anticipated track Mind Your Business.

The track calls out invasive paparazzi photogs and some of the public-facing challenges superstars suffer through. Along with Brit’s repeated “mind your business” refrain sung throughout the song, she and the Black Eyed Peas artist loop in lyrics about being followed:
“…uptown, downtown, everywhere, turn around, Hollywood, London.”
Then, later in the single, Brit takes aim at the endless media focus on her life with the chant:
“Where she at? Where she at? Where she at?”
But throughout the song, her voice throughout is so…. manipulated?! Not like auto-tune. It’s more than that! It’s filtered through a bunch of different computer alterations to the point where it’s hard to tell it’s her unique timbre! That’s not a great choice!
Seriously! Ch-ch-check it out for yourself (below):
This is far from the first time the Baby One More Time singer has worked with will.i.am tho!

The duo collaborated on her 2011 track Big Fat Bass, his 2012 track Scream & Shout, and he served as an executive producer on her 2013 album Britney Jean. So, clearly, there is a lot of history between these two! But did they get it right this time around?? Or is this a swing and a miss?!
Sound OFF with all your comments on the track and whether you liked it or not (below)!!!
