'Barbie' Casting Director Reveals 3 Major Actors Who Turned Down Playing A Ken & The Surprising Star Who Turned Down Allan

Barbie is a bonafide smash hit at the box office!

The flick, which stars Margot Robbie as the title character, and Ryan Gosling as her Ken, made a staggering $155 million over the weekend!

Ryan isn’t the only Ken though – Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and Scott Evans also portray Kens in the movie.

While the cast is perfect as it is, the casting directors for the movie have revealed that there were a few other notable names that could have been Kens, but had to turn down the job, and another star turned down Allan.

Lucy Bevan and Allison Jones told Vanity Fair in a new feature that many were “bummed” that they couldn’t do it, and it all stemmed from the three-month commitment to film the movie in London.
