Tory Lanez is going to prison for a long time.

Tory was convicted on three felony counts back in December: “assault with a semiautomatic firearm; having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence,” according to THR. The incident occurred on July 12, 2020 after a pool party in the Hollywood Hills.
The rapper’s lawyers claimed that the evidence that led to his conviction was “questionable at best” and as a result his lack of remorse should not figure into his sentencing. The memo also adds that if the allegations against Tory were true, then childhood trauma and alcohol abuse would be factors in his behavior.
