Jeff Bezos & Lauren Sanchez Commit To Donate $100 Million In Aid For Maui Wildfires

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez are giving big amid the Maui Wildfires.

The engaged couple announced that they would commit to donate $100 million in aid towards relief efforts following the devastating wildfires that have burnt many homes, and communities to the ground in Maui.

Lauren shared the details with her followers on Instagram.

“Jeff and I are heartbroken by what’s happening in Maui,” she began. “We are thinking of all the families that have lost so much and a community that has been left devastated. The immediate needs are important, and so is the longer term rebuilding that will have to happen — even after much of the attention has subsided.”

She added that the two are “creating a Maui Fund and are dedicating $100 million to help Maui get back on its feet now and over the coming years as the continuing needs reveal themselves.”
