Chris Pratt missed out on the big Parks & Rec reunion that took place on the SAG-AFTRA picket line earlier this week, and he has some thoughts on it.
The 44-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy actor brought Andy Dwyer to life on the hit series before fronting some of his biggest film projects to date.
However, he wasn’t able to make it out on Friday (August 11) when co-stars including Aubrey Plaza, Adam Scott and Nick Offerman got together to voice support for the ongoing strike in Hollywood.
He opened up about his absence in a new post on social media.

Chris shared several photos from the picket line in a post on Instagram and weighed in on the cast taking a stand.
“The Parks gang went picketing today. I couldn’t be there, but I stand in solidarity with them,” he wrote, including “#SAGAFTRAstrong #SAGAFTRAstrike.”
Other castmates who made it out for the gathering included Retta, Ben Schwartz, Jim O’Heir, Allan McLeod, Kirk Fox, Joe Mandle, Colton Dunn and Alison Becker. The group even recruited a miniature horse like Lil Sebastian for the get together.
Earlier this year, Chris opened up about Aubrey joining him as a member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speaking of, did you know that he faced some stiff competition to land his role in the franchise?
