Katharine McPhee rushed home from Asia last week after suffering a “horrible tragedy” in her family and now more details have been released.
It was previously reported that Katharine and her husband David Foster‘s nanny had passed away and now we’ve learned more about the tragic accident.

Yadira Calito, the nanny to the couple’s two-year-old son Rennie, died in a tragic accident that took place last Thursday morning (August 9) at a Toyota dealership in California’s San Fernando Valley, according to TMZ.
An 84-year-old woman accidentally drove her car into the customer reception area of the dealership. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that “the driver accelerated for unknown reasons and collided with several people who were inside. The force of the collision caused injuries to two employees, and a customer. Major damage was also caused to the inside of the business.”
“The customer was a 55-year-old female who sustained fatal injuries was pronounced deceased at the hospital,” the report stated.
TMZ identified the customer as Yadira.
Katharine and David were away in Asia last week while on tour and she announced that she would be missing the final two shows.
