'Sister Wives' Star Kody Brown Speaks Out About 3 of His 4 Marriages Ending

Kody Brown is doing some self-reflection.

The 54-year-old Sister Wives star spoke out in a new interview with People about his hit TLC show, and his troubled marriages.

During the conversation, he addressed the face that three of his marriages – with Christine Brown, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown – have ended in a span of 14 months.

His fourth relationship, with Robyn Brown, is still intact. It’s also the only wife he’s legally married to, and is his first monogamous relationship in decades. Altogether, Kody is the father to 18 children across four marriages.

“It’s been painful, a lot of finger pointing and blame. But you have to hope we still have a friendship in the future. Because we’re bound forever through our kids,” he told the outlet.

“I could have done a lot better,” he admits.

Janelle also issued a statement, saying: “We’re all settling into the new path. There’s only possibilities in front of us.”

Robyn also spoke out about the marriage, as well as the upcoming season of their show: “No one should be married while they’re going through a divorce. I never thought I wanted to leave. I know how much I love Kody. He’s doing his best.”
