Glee is no longer on air, but die-hard Gleeks are able to get an idea of what their fav actors would sound like if they were to cover new songs with the magic of AI.
By now, you’ve likely seen AI-generated covers of hit songs performed by a variety of artists. That trend very much extends to the world of Glee, where fans are reimagining songs to sound like they were recorded by the cast.
One of the most recent to go viral is a cover of Doechii‘s “What It Is” that features Kevin McHale, Heather Morris and Amber Riley. The first two reacted to the cover and revealed what they thought about it.

Taking to TikTok, Kevin filmed a duet with the video to reveal that he was a fan. He even delivered some choreography while the song was playing.
Heather dueted Kevin‘s video and appeared every bit as thrilled as she danced along.
“ITS A BOP,” she decided in the accompanying caption.
A version of of the video is also trending on X (formerly Twitter) and features Amber, too. However, the clip of her appears to have been posted on TikTok on a separate occasion and is not related.
On the topic of Glee music, Kevin and co-star and podcast host Jenna Ushkowitz recently revealed the hit song that the entire cast didn’t want to record for the show. They also revealed how they directly inspired an episode of the show by getting drunk on set.
