Prime Video is changing its’ mind.

The streaming service has decided to cancel The Peripheral and A League of Their Own, after first proceeding to renew both shows for second seasons.

Earlier this year, Prime Video announced that A League of Their Own would have an abbreviated second season, consisting of just four episodes.

Now though, the streaming network has reversed its decision – and it’s the same way with The Peripheral, which starred Chloe Grace Moretz.

According to Prime Video reps, via THR, the reason for the reversal are the strikes – WGA and SAG-AFTRA.

With the strikes going on, both series would have been delayed even further to 2025.
