Ryan Gosling‘s witty song on the Barbie soundtrack quickly became a massive hit, and now fans get to see how the epic musical number came to life.

In a video featuring previously unreleased footage, Ryan can be seen rehearsing the choreography with his costars, watching back his takes during filming, and laughing alongside the director, Greta Gerwig.

There are also clips included in the new video that feature the producers, Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, showing how they brought together the drum, guitar, and vocal tracks.

The Barbie album now has more than a billion global streams, and “I’m Just Ken” has 75 million of its own. The tune even earned Ryan his Billboard Hot 100 debut.
