Alabama Barker is opening up about her autoimmune disorder.
The 17-year-old daughter of blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and his ex, Shanna Moakler, revealed her private battle with an autoimmune disease after receiving body shaming comments online.
The comments came after Alabama was pictured out and about with a friend, and her followers had noticed that she did not look like she had. Many flatly called out her weight gain, to which Alabama took issue with.

In her response, posted to TikTok, Alabama clapped back at the comments and put trolls in their place.
“Paparazzi will purposely take pictures of you with your mouth open, middle of a sentence and any ugly picture they can get of you just for views,” she said. “I would love to see you guys getting random pictures of you taken of you when you’re leaving the grocery store, in the middle of a sentence, with your mouth wide open… and let’s see how beautiful you look.”
She then revealed that she has a “thyroid problem and an autoimmune disease…so, it would be very appreciated if you guys just keep your opinions to yourself. It’ll get you further in life.”
Alabama then addressed how the autoimmune disease contributes to her weight, adding that she hoped any young girls watching her video do not ever “think there’s something wrong with” gaining weight or having their weight fluctuate.
“There is a certain point where if your health is getting affected by it, that you need to change it, but no… That’s not the case for me and I would appreciate it if you guys put yourself in my shoes,” she ended.
