Billie Eilish‘s fans are slamming her ex-boyfriend Jesse Rutherford for the lyrics in his new song “POV,” which people are calling “disturbing.”
For those who don’t know, Billie is a longtime fan of Jesse and his band The Neighbourhood and they started dating last year when she was 20 and he was 31.
At the time, people called out the age gap between the two musicians and some had an issue with Billie being with a man she had a crush on since childhood.
Billie shot down those critics and told Vanity Fair, “I managed to get my life to a point where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f–king f–ker alive, but pulled his ass! Are you kidding me? Can we just… Round of applause for me? Thank you. Jesse Rutherford, everyone. I pulled his ass! All me. I did that sh-t. I locked that motherf–ker down.”
Well, the new lyrics in “POV” seem to be about Billie.
