Margot Robbie heard a lot of rumors about Barbie when the movie was being filmed, but there was one theory that really stuck out to her.

In a new video interview alongside co-star Kate McKinnon with Elle magazine, the 33-year-old actress opened up about the theory and how she first reacted to it.

Apparently, some fans who were looking forward to the movie thought it was going to be a horror flick!

“The weirdest fan theory I’ve heard about the movie so far is that it’s actually a horror film,” Margot admitted in the clip. “And that’s what’s gonna take everyone by surprise.”

She then joked, “‘Oh, you’re going to the Barbie movie? Psych. It’s scary and gory!’ Someone said that to me, and I was like, ‘It’s not, please don’t spread that rumor.’ I don’t want horror fans to be disappointed.”
