Donald Trump has returned to Twitter for the first time in over two and a half years and he’s speaking out following his arrest in Georgia.

The former President of the United States was just booked and release from the Fulton County Jail after surrendering to authorities as part of the election case.

Trump made history as the first former president to have a mugshot taken after serving in office and the photo has already gone viral on social media. Surprisingly, he claims he had never heard of mugshots before today!

In his tweet, Trump shared the mugshot and wrote, “Election Interference. Never Surrender!” He also included a link to his website.

After being released from jail, Trump called Newsmax and talked about his day.

“Terrible experience,” he said. “I came in, I was treated very nicely, but it is what it is. I took a mugshot, which I’d never heard the words ‘mugshot’ — they didn’t teach me that at the Wharton School of Finance.”

Trump‘s height and weight were revealed in his booking records, but experts don’t think they are accurate.
