Elton John is recovering.

The 76-year-old “Tiny Dancer” icon is healing after taking a fall at his home, causing him to be hospitalized over the weekend.

The singer was treated on Sunday night (August 27) in Monaco after falling at his villa in Nice, France, according to TMZ.

The cause of his fall is not immediately known, but it was serious enough that it required medical treatment.

It also required an overnight stay. He was discharged Monday morning (August 28), his rep told the outlet.

Elton‘s rep says the hospital stay was just a “precautionary measure,” adding “following checkups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health.”

Elton has been been vacationing in France over the summer with his husband, David Furnish, and their kids. He had just retired after his final tour performance in Stockholm. We are wishing Elton a continued speedy recovery!
