“Two weeks without a gallbladder now and finally feeling so much better. Thank you and lots of kisses to everyone that reached out and checked on me ❤️” Julia wrote along with a sweet winking selfie.

The gallbladder is a “pear-shaped organ that sits just below your liver on the upper right side of your abdomen. Your gallbladder collects and stores bile — a digestive fluid produced in your liver,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

The surgical procedure for removing the gallbladder is called a cholecystectomy, and is recommended in cases where gallstones are present in the gallbladder or bile duct. Surgery is also recommended if there is gallbladder inflammation, large gallbladder polyps, or pancreas inflammation.

A few years back, Julia slammed body shamers.

We’re glad to hear Julia Michaels is feeling better.
