Miley Cyrus is looking back at her 2014 Bangerz concert tour, and revealing that she didn’t actually make anything from it.

In her latest TikTok video, the 30-year-old said that the tour was more of an investment on her part than anything else, and why she doesn’t regret it.

Miley shared that to prepare for the tour, she actually purchased a lot of the props that were staples of it – including that giant model of her own tongue.

“The Bangerz tour was an investment in myself,” Miley shared. “A lot of these ideas were kind of so outlandish that no one really wanted to support me in making these pieces. So I had big puppets, oversized beds. I came out of my own face on my tongue.”

She also said that the giant hot dog prop was a reference to The Truman Show.

“I felt like The Truman Show was a reflection of my life,” she shared.

The Bangerz tour is reported to have grossed around $62 million, but Miley didn’t make “a dime” off of it.

Miley added that her team did protest that, but “I said, ‘there is no one I would rather invest in myself.’”
