Ed Sheeran had to share some bad news with fans in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hours before he was set to take the stage for a concert, he announced that it would have to be postponed to a later date.
The 32-year-old “Perfect” musician apologized to all of his fans, explained why they had to make the decision and revealed the new date when he would be coming back for the show.

In the leadup to his announcement, Allegiant Stadium (where the concert was taking place) shared an update on their website that warned fans the show would be “significantly delayed.”
Ed took to Instagram to provide an update.
“I can’t believe I’m typing this but there’s been some challenges encountered during the load in of our vegas show,” he explained. “It’s impossible to go forward with the show. I’m so sorry. I know everyone has travelled in for this and I wish I could change it.”
He confirmed that they would come back to play the venue on October 28. “All purchased tickets will be valid for that date,” he promised.
“I’m so, so sorry,” Ed signed off.
