Andy Cohen Explains Why Heidi Montag Isn't on 'Real Housewives'

Andy Cohen is talking Heidi Montag.

During Tuesday’s (September 19) live episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, host Andy Cohen responded to Heidi’s mention of him in a recent interview.

Andy then addressed why Heidi isn’t part of the Real Housewives franchise.

“There was a thing in the news the other day where Heidi, of Spencer and Heidi, was interviewed. They asked her like why she’s not on the Housewives or something and she said it’s because of me,” he began.

“I feel like in the news it comes up all the time where you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, Spencer said you hate him.’ I just gotta be clear. I don’t know them. I didn’t watch Laguna Beach, so I don’t even have much institutional knowledge of them. I have said that I thought it would be weird if they were on the Housewives because the same reason that I was saying that it would be weird if Snooki came on the Housewives.”

“They’re so identified not only with another show, but with another network, so it’s like, ‘But wait a minute, you are supposed to be on Jersey Shore.’ It takes the, it just makes it weird, so that’s the reason. They said that they thought it was because I was a big Lauren Conrad fan and I’m like…” he continued.

John Hill added “Yeah, you’re not thinking about really any of them.”

Andy replied: “Right. I’m kind of not.”
