Dead Reckoning, Part 1 released in July and brought in $567.5 million globally.

The team was in the middle of filming the sequel to the Tom Cruise-led film when the strike shut it down.

Dead Reckoning, Part 2 stars Tom as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, with Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames and Vanessa Kirby all expected to return.
