Priscilla Presley and Riley Keough are paying tribute to Lisa Marie Presley on the first anniversary of her death.
The 34-year-old Daisy Jones & The Six actress took to Instagram on Friday to share a throwback photo of her and her late mother. In the sweet snapshot, she and Lisa Marie could be seen sitting next to each other at a table while a young Riley wears a massive grin on her face. She simply captioned the post with a heart emoji. A very touching tribute. Riley received a ton of messages of support in the comments section, including from family friend and former girlfriend of Elvis Presley, Linda Thompson. She wrote:
“Your mother loved you, your brother and your sisters fiercely and devotedly… death does not rob us of that love, nor our memories. I have the best recollections of your beautiful mother from the time she was 4 1/2. She was extraordinarily special, but you already know that. I loved her then, now, and always. My thoughts & my heart are with you…”
Priscilla also took a moment to honor her late daughter. The 78-year-old hopped on X (Twitter), writing:
“Today is a very solemn day. It’s been a year since your passing and not a day goes by where I don’t think about and miss you. Rest in peace, Lisa. You are in the arms of your beloved father now. Only that … gives me comfort. Mom. ”
