Selling Sunset alum Maya Vander just endured every parent’s worst nightmare.

The beloved reality star revealed that what was supposed to be a sun-soaked Florida getaway with her family took a terrifying turn when her two-year-old daughter Emma was injured in a pool accident. Oh, no!

The 43-year-old shared the story with her Instagram followers over the weekend, explaining that her fam’s vacay ended abruptly after the frightening pool slide situation. The real estate pro took to her IG Stories to reveal the scary ordeal by saying:

“When your two days vacation ends up at the boca west hospital due to a pool slide incident…”

Whoa!

But in true Maya fashion, she followed it with gratitude and reassurance by wanting her followers to know that, above everything else, her little girl was okay. She added:

“Thank god we are safe and sound.”

That’s all that matters in the end! Relief doesn’t even begin to describe it.

Maya also shared a sweet photo with Emma in a hospital bed, both of them smiling. Ch-ch-check it out (below):

As Selling Sunset viewers know, Maya is mom to Emma, older daughter Elle, and 6-year-old son Aiden, whom she shares with husband David Miller. While she became a standout favorite when she joined the Oppenheim Group back in 2015 and later appeared on the hit Netflix show, family has always been at the center of her world.

That’s exactly why she left the show a few years back after starting her own Florida-based business, in fact — officially stepping away from the series in 2022.
