Timothée Chalamet is setting a new boundary with Kylie Jenner!
In case you missed it, the pair attended the premiere of his new movie Marty Supreme in Los Angeles on Monday night. When Kylie and Timmy showed up together in those matching neon orange looks, they stunned everyone, not only because of the iconic twinning moment but because we all thought they were pretty much dunzo by that point!

We heard for a while that the couple were on the brink of breaking up as the Call Me By Your Name star thought “something was broken” in their romance, but now they’re together again! So, are those split rumors not a thing anymore? Or are they trying to save face? What’s going on here? According to a new insider for Dailymail.com on Thursday, Kylie and Timothée took a “breather” before the premiere event:
“They cool down and they heat up. Before the premiere, they were in the cool-down cycle. They hadn’t returned each other’s stuff, they hadn’t blocked each other – they were taking a breather.”
At this point, Timothée is reportedly so focused on his career that he would be fine NOT dating Kylie, especially if he feels she will hurt his chances of winning awards like an Oscar. We all know he is gunning for one with Marty Supreme.
For that reason, he is seemingly OK with taking time away from Ky. A second insider explained:
“Right now, Timothée is interested in winning [awards] and supporting his projects and becoming the actor he wants to become, and not being in a relationship would be OK with him.”
Oof. Poor Kylie. If the makeup mogul wants to continue the romance, it sounds like she needs to get on board with his career-first mentality. That may include accepting him not talking about their romance publicly often. The source continued:
“His career is what’s important right now. Kylie might not like it, but it’s something she has to accept if she wants him back in her life.”
Kylie said herself she is so “protective” of her personal life and has a busy career of her own, so she may not mind agreeing to these terms. Hmm. Time will tell how it works out this time.
