Cher thinks her old pal Kristen Bell could do SO much better!
On Monday’s episode of Armchair Expert, Dax Shepard laid it out plainly — the 79-year-old music icon doesn’t like him! He admitted to that! While chatting with Cher on the pod, he said:
“Who would be your dream partner for her? Cause I know you think she could do better, and I don’t disagree.”
Wow! LOLz!
Cher didn’t disagree, either. She admitted she didn’t have anyone else in mind for her Burlesque co-star, but said:
“The truth is, I trust her. So you must have something that I don’t see.”
But what does Dax have? Well, he decided to give Cher some options. He argued:
“I’ll tell you the thing that you should like about me. I’m not threatened by her shining. Love it. The shinier she gets, the better.”

The Believe singer seemed to like that answer, too, as she compared it to her own partner, Alexander Edwards:
“Alexander is that way too. The more I shine, the more he has won.”
Kristen herself chimed in at this point, describing both Dax and Alexander as “guys who polish you so you shine more!” Love that!
No hard feelings between Dax and Cher, though. He told the Grammy winner:
“I adore you, and I understand nobody’s good enough for her.”
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star didn’t agree with her hubby, though. She called him “almost too good for me” and said he was more of a “slow burn” lover. Cher recognized another quality in the man she doesn’t approve of, too, as she added he seems “like a good dad”. Kristen agreed, saying he’s “the best dad there ever was”. (As long as he’s promising not to kill her, right?)
Dax kept it playfully humble, though, joking:
“I put on a good show when the guests are here. That was the first hug I’d given my daughter in two years. Just because you were here. I wanted to impress you.”
Ha!
