SZA got involved in Hailey and Justin Bieber’s drama with a TikToker!
As we’ve been covering, Julie Theis received a cease and desist letter over a video she created criticizing the couple’s marriage — and Hailey got accused of re-posting. It all started last weekend when a social media user shared a screen recording to X that showed the Rhode Beauty founder allegedly re-posting Julie’s clip about the supposed “abuse” in the Bieber romance due to his “addiction” problems. The content creator claimed “tolerant co-dependent” women tolerate “mediocrity, abuse, doing the majority of domestic and emotional labor, in exchange for being in a relationship,” and Hailey and Justin are the best “example” of that.

The X user claimed Hailey “later deleted” the re-post. However, the 29-year-old model insisted she never re-posted the video! Hailey’s attorneys then sent the cease and desist letter to Julie, who slammed her for trying “to intimidate and silence” her for stating “an opinion.” See her clap-back video if you haven’t yet (below):

And amid all the drama, SZA chimed in to defend Hailey and Justin! The singer took to the comments section on Instagram of Julie’s original video about the Biebers last week, questioning her qualifications:
“Hi are you a licensed therapist or psychologist? You speak with SUCH certainty and Id like to know . Peace”
To which Julie responded:
“I have both my bachelors and masters degree in psychology
I’ve worked as a behavioural specialist and researcher, now I’m a full time content creator and do take on clients for coaching and mentorship but not as a a therapist.”
While SZA appreciated the clarification, she offered a reminder that “publicly diagnosing” someone she doesn’t know is “dangerous” for everyone involved:
“thank you so much ! My sister also has a masters in psychology and IS a licensed therapist ..I respect study and inquiry posed as just that .. however publicly diagnosing people you have absolutely no contact with and presenting that information as fact under the premise of education ..may be a bit dangerous ? for all parties including those you wish to educate
just an opinion! All respect to you”
Later on, Julie shared that there is no beef between her and SZA. They even started DMing each other after the situation. The social media personality wrote:
“Also leave SZA out of this. We’re literally cool with eachother. She was super respectful as was I. Plus, she herself asked for my further thoughts on relationship dynamics & patterns so this whole narrative that she ‘cleared me’ and is against me, try again.”
