We were devastated to learn Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum were splitting up, but over the past year and a half we suppose we’ve gotten used to living in this no Dewan-Tatum world.

And so have they, by all accounts. They’re both in what seem to be healthy, relatively longterm relationships. They really do seem happy in their new lives.

But that’s now. What about then??

Jenna opens up about some of the growing pains — or rather growing apart pains — of the divorce in her new memoir Gracefully You: Finding Beauty and Balance in the Everyday.

And Radar Online got an early excerpt in which the World of Dance host reveals how upset she was when she found out Channing had moved on with singer Jessie J.

“There I was, on a plane, alone, finding out about his new relationship. I felt blindsided.”

Wait, on a plane?

Yep — according to Jenna, she never got the news from Channing and instead found out about it the same time as the rest of the world — which for those keeping track was in October 2018. At that time it was reported they’d already been together two months.

Not exactly a class move to hide a relationship from her, if that’s really what he did. But also… they aren’t together anymore, so does she really want to know about everything he’s doing with every woman?

We do. For the record.

Jenna writes about being pissed off, saying she even crafted some bitter, shady tweets about the whole thing — but says she ultimately chose to let go and delete the drafts:

“Instead of reacting the way I wanted… I asked myself this: How do I choose grace in this moment?”

Innerestingly, she also filed for divorce later that month. Hmm…

It does seem like kind of a shady move on Channing’s part, right? Not even giving her the heads up?

We mean, she reportedly gave *him* the heads up before she and new guy Steve Kazee publicly announced they were having a baby…

Hey, wait a second. October was also when we found out for the first time Jenna was seeing Steve. They were spotted together at a Halloween party. And we don’t know how long they’ve been together exactly, but we know that wasn’t their first date either.

In Kazee’s announcement post on Instagram, he wrote:

“The past year and a half has brought so many things into my life that have filled me with the deepest of gratitude. A partner who radiates love, warmth, and kindness.”

If he meant they got together a year and a half prior to that announcement, she would have been with him for MONTHS before Jessie J. (Also, she would have been with him the same month news broke of Channing and Jenna’s separation in the first place.)

If that’s the case, she definitely has no place being upset about him moving on. But if her relationship was always on the up-and-up, and his was a secret, we guess it makes sense.
