Blake Horstmann Plans To Attend Stagecoach 2020 Despite Last Year’s Drama With His BiP Co-Stars: ‘I’ll Be A Little More Careful’

Blake Horstmann is not about to let his messy past ruin his seemingly bright future!

As you’ll recall, the Bachelor in Paradise star developed a pretty bad reputation among Bachelor Nation after his sexual activity with fellow contestants Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Kristina Schulman at Stagecoach 2019 was made public on the reality TV show last summer. Blake got the bad-boy edit once it was revealed he slept with both women on back-to-back nights at the country music festival months before cameras started rolling — and that’s not even the worst part of what went down in that slut-shamey situation!

Now, with just over a month to go before the big annual event, the 30-year-old says he has every intention of returning to Indio, CA in April for Stagecoach 2020!

Horstmann spoke with DailyMail.com over the weekend ahead of his DJ gig at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s nightclub in Atlantic City and confirmed his plans to attend:

“I am definitely still going. I’m not going to let people shame me into not going to a music festival.”

Well-aware of his controversial actions the last time around, he joked:

“I’ll be a little more careful. But I’m really looking forward to it.”

Fans of the ABC dating competition franchise will recall how two very different stories about Blake, Caelynn, and Kristina came out after they all attended the popular SoCal festival. Miller-Keyes tearfully told cameras the Bachelorette alum had called their night together a “mistake” and begged her to keep it a secret. She also exposed the fact that he slept with Schulman within 24 hours of hooking up with her. Yikes.

But as the episodes aired, Horstmann posted his text messages with Caelynn online; their conversations seemed to suggest she sought him out for sex and was just as concerned about people finding out when they ventured to Mexico to film BiP. The whole thing spiraled into a larger controversy with fans and fellow Bach alums (including Dean Unglert, Miller-Keyes’ boyfriend) calling Blake out for distastefully handling the situation — but it sounds like that’s all behind him now!

When asked whether he anticipates any awkward run-ins at the festival this year, Horstmann told the outlet:

“No, absolutely not at all.”

He continued explaining his optimistic mindset going forward:

“I was talking to Kristina and she’s going to be there and we’re going to hang out. It’s totally fine. We’re all friends.”

Good for them! Here’s to hoping history doesn’t repeat itself with any of the women who got axed from Peter Weber‘s ongoing season of The Bachelor, ha! But speaking of, it sounds like Blake is keeping far, far away from the franchise altogether as he clarified his plans for this summer:

“I’m not going to go to Paradise [or doing] anything like that this summer.”

Probably for the best! Good luck with that new DJing career, dude!
