Ashton Kutcher is explaining why he supports the Black Lives Matter movement.
On Tuesday, the That 70’s Show star spoke out on social media to educate his ignorant followers about why the “All Lives Matter” phrase is problematic and “missing the point” amid ongoing protests against systemic racism and police brutality, spurred on by the death of George Floyd.

In a short clip shared to his Instagram page, Ashton utilized a bedtime exchange between him, wife Mila Kunis, and their two kids, Wyatt and Dimitri, to simplify a basic concept that should be understood by humans everywhere. He stressed that he doesn’t “think the people that are posting ‘All Lives Matter’ should be canceled. I think they should be educated.”
The actor explained that in their family, they let girls go first in every instance — in this case, it was reading a book before bed — because some boys never allow girls to get a chance. He connected the dots on this directly to BLM, saying:
“So when it comes to Black Lives Matter, I think what folks that are writing ‘All Lives Matter’ need to understand is that for some people…black lives don’t matter at all. So for us, black lives matter. So, while you may have the best intentions in saying, ‘All Lives Matter,’ remember: For some people, black lives don’t matter at all.”
Genius!!! It’s really as simple as that. WATCH his emotional plea for yourself (below) and share with a friend who might still be on the fence about this issue:
