Justin Bieber is defending himself after two women recently came forward and accused him of sexual assault.
The first accusation was from a woman named Danielle, who took to Twitter over the weekend in a series of since-deleted messages, alleging the Purpose singer sexually assaulted her on March 9, 2014 at the Four Seasons hotel in Austin, Texas. However, Bieber is not only denying the woman’s story, but is also providing receipts of his own that her claims are “factually impossible.”

In the lengthy message composed via Notes, Danielle explained she was not ready to reveal her last name and full identity to the world, but she needed to get this off of her chest after witnessing another woman recently share a similarly harrowing experience with actor Ansel Elgort. She wrote, in part:
“I’m posting this anonymously because I’m not ready to come forward and reveal myself. If he comes across this, you know who I am. I know you remember me. I hope your life is hell after this and you drown in guilt.”
Danielle shared how she and her friends saw Bieber perform a surprise SXSW set at Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden in Austin, which was hosted by his manager Scooter Braun. She claimed how after the show, a man approached them about meeting Justin at the Four Seasons, even though he was dating then-girlfriend Selena Gomez at the time. Once she was alone with the performer, she said she inquired about Gomez and “kept asking questions to add to our conversation, but he then leaned in to kiss me. I was shocked.” Danielle said that their kiss led to him “unbuttoning” her pants and “started tracing my underwear with his fingers.”
Her story was captured and reposted for you to read in full (below):

After Danielle shared her truth, another woman identified as Kadi said she also was assaulted by Hailey Bieber‘s husband, claiming the incident went down at the Langham Hotel in New York City in 2015. Kadi said she was pressured by her family not to come forward and had to go to rehab afterward to deal with the mental and emotional distress of the ordeal.
I believe Danielle, I am a victim of sexual assault by Justin Bieber too pic.twitter.com/AA0Y72xE1s

Although shortly after sharing her story, another anonymous user tried to challenge her account of the events:

Ugh.
Justin has not commented on Kadi’s story, but a source told Entertainment Tonight that both allegations are untrue. The insider claims that in regards to the alleged 2015 incident, Bieber attended the Met Gala and immediately flew back to LA with Hailey and did not stay overnight at the specified location.
On Sunday, the Canadian artist took to the social media platform to directly address Danielle’s claims because “rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly.”
Bieber shared an article from 2014 which confirmed Selena was with him that night, along with evidence to suggest that he never stayed at the Four Seasons hotel but was actually spotted at the Four Seasons restaurant. He also shared receipts for his stay at an Airbnb on March 9, 2014 and for his stay at a Westin hotel the next night under the alias “Mike Lowery,” along with several other reasons why he insists Danielle’s story is false:
This article from 2014 talks about Selena being there with me. https://t.co/Jr2AE0brY2

These photos clearly show me on stage with my assistant sidestage and the other with both of us in the streets of Austin afterwards on March 9 2014 pic.twitter.com/WlC6KAvJOZ

Here is article that shows we didn’t arrive in Austin that night from Selena’s show in Houston until late in the night. https://t.co/BsxCoMasqa

The other reason this story might say I was staying at the four seasons was because a tweet from 2014 on March 10th not the the 9th says they saw me there . This is that tweet pic.twitter.com/piTHxjajvi

However I never stayed at the four seasons on the 9th or the 10th. This person put another tweet up earlier saying they saw me at the restaurant the following night not the hotel pic.twitter.com/K4WHNRlC6k

Furthermore I stayed with Selena and our friends at an airbnb on the 9th and on the 10th stayed at a Westin because our hotel reservation at LÀ Quinta and not the four seasons was messed up. Here are the receipts for the hotel on the 10th pic.twitter.com/hLNHnvJ6XS

We have also confirmed with the Four Seasons regional manager that I was never on property on the 9th of March 2014 and never a guest on the 9th or the 10th and I welcome all press to inquire with them if needed or wanted.

On march 10th selena left for work and I stayed at the Westin as the receipts clearly showed with my friends nick and john before I left town. Once again not at the four seasons. We booked it for a couple days to stay for the defjam show but I bailed on the 11th to head back home pic.twitter.com/Ku15SCYz91

After presenting his case, Justin declared he will no longer use an alias at hotels and will be pursuing legal action to clear his name of these claims:
“Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action.”
The early reaction online seems to be in favor of supporting Justin, especially considering how much “proof” he had on hand to defend himself. Unfortunately, this seems to be the case with a lot of similar stories brought up by powerful men in the industry.
Keep in mind, though, he did name drop Selena — so have to imagine she’ll have something to add to all of this, right? We’ll be watching this story as it develops.
