We’re Sorry Not Sorry, but this exciting news about Demi Lovato just can’t wait!
On Wednesday night, the 27-year-old pop singer announced that she and her boyfriend Max Ehrich are officially ENGAGED after just four months of dating. We knew things were going really well for the couple and this was said to be in the cards from day one, but, wow. Congrats!

Demi and Max shared their engagement news on Instagram by uploading a similar set of photos captured during their gorgeous and romanic beachside proposal. The Confidant crooner wrote:
“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his ‘little partner’ – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.”
She continued gushing about the future with her husband-to-be, adding:
“@maxehrich – I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself. I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage. I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future!!!!”

Now, that is an impressive ring and it’s courtesy of celebrity jeweler Peter Marco, who was tagged in the set of images. The Young and the Restless actor also shared a batch of shots captured by photographer Angelo Kritikos to celebrate this beautiful new chapter with Demi. In his caption, he wrote:
“Ahhhh You are every love song, every film, every lyric, every poem, everything I could ever dream of and then some in a partner in life. Words cannot express how infinitely in love with you I am forever and always and then some. I cannot spend another second of my time here on Earth without the miracle of having you as my wife. here’s to forever baby.”
Clearly overjoyed, he continued expressing his love and gratitude for the starlet:

These two are so sappy and in love, it’s almost overwhelming. LOLz. Nevertheless, we are so excited to see what the future holds for these two once they officially tie the knot. No details yet on when that’ll be, but we wouldn’t rule out a low-key pandemic wedding ceremony, either!

As fans know, Lovato and the actor started quarantining together at her California home back in March mere weeks after they first sparked romance rumors by exchanging flirty messages on social media. It wasn’t long before sources told E! News the pair was “falling in love” and by June, a different insider told Us Weekly that Ehrich had already picked out a “very sizable” engagement ring for his lady. At the time, the source said:
“They’ve been talking about getting engaged. Her family really likes him. He’ll likely propose within the next couple of months, but when quarantine is over.”
Well, seeing as there’s no ending in sight for this quarantine period, we can understand why they probably couldn’t wait any longer!
