Hours ago, we reported on the birth of Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger‘s first child together. And now, the proud parents themselves have confirmed the birth and granted fans special access to the amazing little girl, sharing both her name AND an adorable first photo of their newborn daughter on social media!

Taking to his official Instagram page to make the special announcement on Monday morning, the 41-year-old Jurassic World star and his lovely 30-year-old wife announced the baby girl’s name to the world: Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt.
Love that name!!! And a definite nod to Katherine’s mom, Maria Shriver! So sweet!
Along with it they shared a special update about mom and baby, with the couple confirming the birth (below) followed by Psalm 126:3 and 127:3-4 from the Bible:
“We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn’t be happier. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed.”
They also published a truly heartwarming photo of their daughter’s incredible little hand in theirs, sharing an identical picture and message on both of their IG accounts on Monday morning:
